Re: Invitation to Citizens’ Press Conference on 24th September 2019

The 14th Citizens’ Press Conference will cover the topic "The Outcry of 130 Thousand: Immediate Reformation of the Hong Kong Police Force". At this press conference, we will present the results of the survey conducted on 8th September, for which we received over 130,000 responses. The results reflect that the withdrawal of the extradition bill has not weakened Hong Kong people's determination in their pursuit of the actualisation of the five demands. Besides, most showed support for the "mutual destruction" concept/strategy and the demand for an immediate reformation of the police force, demonstrating an evolution of Hong Kong people's perspective and their demands.

The conference will explain the survey results in detail, and evaluate the underlying factors behind the data and their implication for the future development of the Movement.
