I've been asked six times in the past two days about photos getting back, so I'm just going to repost this pinned post in hopes that will cut down those messages 💖

I cannot give estimations as to when your pictures will be done, and please note that there is a four month MINIMUM return time (this will most likely be changing to six months in the coming new year due to demand) - this means it may be longer. I am currently editing three cons - Animaritime, Otakuthon, and Hal-Con, which totals to 60-70 photoshoots, and each shoot can take anywhere from 5-10 hours of editing.

Been a hot minute since a before and after, here we gooo! Here's a picture of Ellysetta Rain Cosplay's Belldandy that I shot at Animaritime.

Image was a little underexposed, fixed it in RAW. I always shoot RAW, there's no reason not to, you can save an image no problem. I try to get it right in camera but sometimes I'm just too in the moment to play with settings, haha.

- Light painting, shifting colours.

...

- Got rid of the big...thing in the background.

- Been experimenting with skin retouching, I just wanna make people glow so lots of that.

- Little bit of wig fixes - anyone who knows me knows I literally beg cosplayers to brush their wig since big editing takes hours, but little fixes like flyaways are no biggie. :)

- Sharpening, basic things, etc. etc. I always forget what I do exactly to an image because the process is more like 'let's see what I can do to this picture to make it look not like that but still natural but...not...really.'

I've decided I will be going to Hal Con this year, however booking is going to be extremely limited. I just don't have it in me to shoot another 30-40 set con. I'll be opening up 5-10 spots depending on how much I get edited. Expect that this week!!

Ok, getting back into the swing of things. Made some good progress on editing over the weekend - it's still a mountain, but is somewhat manageable.

Editing is hard, and it takes a lot of time! I edited for eight hours and only finished three sets, so please be patient with cosplay (actually, all haha) photographers. :)

That is, of course, if you agree! Link: https://www.facebook.com/FemShep/posts/1326668734011379 I wrote this because when I shared a cosplayer's FemShep dragon armour cosplay photos on our wall a day or so ago, a fan posted an image that proposed he was going to masturbate in response to seeing it. I figure that whilst that can be a funny statement if a person knows you and it's an in-joke, stating such things about someone you don't know on the internet, doesn't make you much better than that stranger at the bus stop who says the same thing: Awkward.... Cosplayers, in my opinion, deserve a little more respect than just whether or not they pass a fan's standards of beauty. See More
