Such an obnoxious cunt of a bar to train with the football bar 2.0 with it's just sheer thick and bulky cuntness. Still it makes training around shoulder discomfort a bit more manageable. It would be easier to use if it was thin handles rather than axle thickness grips. #tartshands #bench

You mirin top set of deadlifts of 115kg? Yeah you mirin. Being disciplined and starting from the bottom. After that bad hammy snap in 2015 I haven't deadlifted consistently since. The cycle would be I would try ramp straight back up to pre snap weights sets and reps, only to aggravate it again and send me back to square one. So finally, being a bit more proactive and starting from the beginning. Fix it and get back up and beyond. Slowly slowly catchy monkey and all that... #deadlifts #homegym #rehab #noob

My mate sacked me off to do other things so decided I'd have another go at deadlifts, second time this week. Did 200 x 5 and 180 x 8 on Wednesday, so wanted to see if leg felt ok up to a heavier weight. 220 for a slow single.

Not as fast as my current best of 222.5 from over a year and half ago but not in any pain so time to start making some progress. Followed up with 170 for 3 sets of 5.

AMRAP tonight after main sets, think I got about 18 reps ish. I remember when I first got the football bar and could hardly do a few reps with this weight, just shows how you adapt to new things the more you use them. Also noticed that the right hand side grip has no knurling on it. Whoops @strengthshopuk must have been a Friday job 😄 #homegym #training #footballbar #benchpress

Bench feeling better on the football bar. Giving the wider handles a go to get me more used to returning to a normal bar. Doesn't hammer the triceps as much as the middle or inner grips do though. Had a play with the slingshot too, that's fun to use with the football bar... pain in the arse to set up lol #bench #training #homegym #slingshot

Had to muster up some arsedness tonight because I really couldn't be. I need to get me a new preworkout start training in a morning before work. Sets of 5, 140 / 150 / 160 / 160 / 160... then wanted to do amrap with 140 but turned out my amrap today was 5... lol

Preworkout always used to give me a good kick but stopped using them because I couldn't sleep. Any suggestions of what's out now as I haven't kept up to date with them. #homegym #squats #ineedapreworkout

Tonight's top sets, 160kg / 165kg / 170kg for 4 with a cheeky pause on the first reps. Followed with some front squats, 100kg / 110kg for triples, then some rehab hamstring curls and neutral grip pull ups for sets of 10.
