The 2017 summer solstice is upon us! This day marks the official start of summer as the northern hemisphere experiences the longest day of the year due to the sun's position relative to the earth.
To mark the occasion 13,000 people gathered to watch the sunrise at Stonehenge as the public were given a rare opportunity to get up close to the historic monument.
The sun won't set until 10pm today. How will you be making the most of the extra sunlight?
Today is Trooping the Colour! The royal tradition dates back to 1748, and is the official celebration of the ruling monarch's birthday.
Around 2,000 members of the Household Division and Horse Guards take part in this very British show of pomp and pageantry. That's 1,400 soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians.
The dedicated soldiers take up to 12 hours to prepare their uniforms, and use 1200 pots of polish to do so!
From the 'Spirit of London' ride in a typical black cab, to the immersive 4D Marvel Superheroes film and a host of famous figures to meet along the way, Madame Tussauds London is still delighting visitors 261 years on.
