Happy birthday again to Chelsea, Lynette and, of course, Peter fro...m the Honor Society of Leap Year Day Babies, who came all the way from Vancouver, BC to introduce and sing with us. Photo by our bassist's producer, Joel Gossett, who turns 60 today!

All across the country, babies born on Leap Day this year are being dressed as frogs, and the photos are absolutely adorable. Because February 29th only comes around once every four years, it’s reason to celebrate! Here’s some of my favorites:     Facebook | St. Clair Hospital Facebook |

Video's already up of our semi-acoustic "2/29" on KUSI this morning! If I'm grinning more than usual, it's because I can't believe whatever's buzzing around me... hasn't gone in my mouth yet. First world California sun in February problems. This was a second take for online. Just before, the anchors interviewed us quick and we played a bit of the song while the show ended (lofi video link below). A few more pics below in comments. Well, a few of you, Leap Day babies and annual babies alike, have made me aware of the Google Doodle of bunnies for February 29. When I went to check it out this is what I saw! When I hover over the doodle the pop-up flag says "Happy Birthday Raenell" <gasp> Imagine my surprise!! Any other Leap Day babies on Google+? When I click on this it goes to my Google account. Pretty fun.
