After taking the Inbound course and half of the Content Marketing course and listening to them go on about how important it is to treat potential customers I am shocked at the lack of customer service... I have just experience d. I was kicked out of my account halfway through a course and the website is not recognizin g my email to log back in. Their phone lines won't take calls from non-paying customers, their customer support email doesn't respond, their facebook messenger is automated, and the only way to get help is to comment to a forum that you need to be logged onto in the first place in order to comment (which is the thing I am having trouble doing in the first place). If they practiced what they preached they may have lead me along the buyers journey into becoming a paying customer but unfortunat ely that is not how they do business. See More

Subscribed because of the integratio ns, social tracking, mentions, backlink tracking, and many others. NO LONGER WORKS. Cell phone app is inconsiste nt and frequently doesn't load. Support answers p...hones and promises to "research that and get back to you" then they close the ticket and put up a survey. No actual support. Formatting problems are not their problem, its the fault of the designers (whom of which are permitted to advertise and sell on hubspot marketplac e, but hubspot cant fix them). Shuttersto ck has limited images that you cant alter, so the file size (mb) slows your page load times way down, and you cant resize the images to fit the page layout (heads get cut off, images are out of proportion - no fix... just deal with it or violate the terms of use).
Customer is always right? Not at hubspot. Pay up and shut up.
Buyer beware, use Leadpages, its easier and you can quit when you want. See More

Would recommend any startup staying away from Hubspot. Hubspot resellers do NOT have to know the ins and outs of the program but just learn a script. I was victim to this and after being sold a pack...age that was way bigger than needed (resellers get larger commission s for larger packages) and tried to bump down to a package that suited our needs was told we are stuck with our contract and the only way to get out is filing bankruptcy . This company does not care about you and only their bottom line. There are much better programs out there for a fraction of the cost. My reseller is currently being incestigat ed for fraud by 3 companies but Hubspot still allows them to sell their software. Buyer BEWARE!!! See More

HubSpot is great. But thanks to their salesman I give it a 1 star. The salesman was not okay with us leaving HubSpot two years ago! And today I was considerin g to join HubSpot for another business, bu...t that completely changed! I've never spoken to someone like Brandon, he has such bad manners and was so rude because we left HubSpot. I have read their inbound book and I am sure that is not the way they teach them to sell and bring back customers. .. looks like someone missed their sales class... See More

I am extremely disappoint ed right now. I spent over 3 hours with a sales rep trying to get a good fit for our company. I was misled and given several different price points. This was an extremely f...rustrating experience and it did not feel like the best interest of our company was in mind with this representa tive. See More

I find HubSpot very useful! I think that the videos perfectly condense important informatio n and tools that anybody can easily understand . I have tried with several online courses and they would alway...s end up being extremely boring. With the courses I am taking on HubSpot I can be hours in front of the computer without even realize it. Thanks! See More

Horrible. FYI, HubSpot... directing people the HubSpot "forum" is NOT always the best resolution to an issue nor the best place to get "all" the answers when there is an issue with a HubSpot download.

Here's the deal. You have to invest in yourself to make this worth it. But that's with any platform you use. You have to constantly grind and learn how to optimize every tool Hubspot offers. With API ...integratio ns, anything is possible with this platform. From the 1 star reviews I have read, it seems they thought that if they subscribed to a product that they have to pay for, then magically you get an ROI. The process of perfecting marketing automation is gritty, confusing, and a lot of questions. But everyday gets clearer and clearer. My support staff has been nothing but amazing with helping me alo ng the path. If you're serious about your business, buy it. See More

I'm wondering why my Gmail is saving my outgoing emails and sending them as bcc to following address: xxxxxx@bcc .hubspot.c o.m? I have not selected such a feature to be active? Wtf is this? Seriously? ...
I use my browser Gmail to send company and private emails and suddenly they're tracked without any permission asked? The Hubspot Sales CRM helpdesk could not give any support or reason for this? Just asked to go to Hubspots Community?
Bollocks! See More

Inbound Rocks! So look if you aren't willing to put in the work you aren't going to like this software or any software for that matter. Also if you are giving them a bad review because they emailed y...ou after you downloaded an ebook... um... that is silly. See More

I'm just giving a 1-star because I made the mistake of downloadin g one of their PDF's (and had to put some details in to get it) - *instantly * the Google Analytics on my site went crazy with a bunch o...f spam visits from Boston (I think they bot-trawl your website for some stats) so now my analytics for that week are out by about 200 visits from the US (I rarely get visits from the US) - not to mention the useless emails you get. Hubspot doesn't care about us as INDIVIDUAL customers or potential clients. They only care about reeling in as many people into their service, hence the "free" package. But its really a trap. Once ...they've amassed enough people into their system, they then raise their prices knowing that after you've invested so much time learning/ integrating into their platform, you'll just cough up the higher fees rather than trash the time you've invested into their system. I've been a Hubspot user for nearly 5 years. My relationsh ip started when searching for informatio n to help my website and small business. I would locate documents and articles that were exactly what ...I needed. I eventually sought out worked with two agency partners in Canada over the next three years (neither were a good experience ) and eventually fired the agencies and went "all in" with my CRM, website, blog, marketing, etc and took the training myself. In short, I took control over my small business with HubSpot's training programs. The problem is that I keep running into with self-title d agency "experts" that have an expectatio n of a huge retainer without generating any results for a year or more (or at all) . As an e-commerce company with only 3 on the team, I need to see conversion s. I couldn't get an agency to right-size the retainers for our company and I was expected to just "believe" that it's going to work out someday. Nor would they listen to and support or prioritize MY objectives as a business owner. (Some of which were 3-5hr projects) They simply bang out what the HubSpot playbook says in the order THEY want, which doesn't work well for e-commerce IMO. And when I did stick it out for six months and wait for results, there were none to speak of. (ie- not one conversion after six months, three months to build ONE landing page that I can't edit or clone...no t one milestone achieved that we set out for our program... .. over $25k out but zero money generated. ...blog post suggestion s that could get us sued etc..etc) So my advice, skip the agency partners and take the training yourself. It will take longer but it's better in the long run Then you can hire people to do specific tasks like writing, tweaking code or CSS, process consulting , etc, when you need them. If I was Hubspot, I'd ditch the agencies and offer the service in house. With Hubspot employees, the level of expertise and program offerings help you maximize value from the product they invented.T here are senior-lev el staffers they loop in to help you when needed. The level of support, cooperatio n, value and profession alism that I get from Hubspot team members is the only reason I am still a customer. The staff at Hubspot are second to none. After five years I'm just starting to see the results of my commitment to Hubspot. You pay a lot more on the monthly to one company but you know exactly how much you are paying. You don't have to worry about your website going down, or getting hacked or site backups or updating plugins or trying to read analytics. You don't have to be a network admin or a web designer. You can buy off the shelf templates that work really well and are easy to customize. You can call Hubpsot on a Saturday morning at 10am and get someone to help you. (With my agency partners I was only allowed to talk to them 2x a month. No email support other than having my concern added to a meeting agenda two weeks later) When I upgraded to Sales Pro and CRM recently I got six hours of training from a Hubspot Business Developmen t Rep which has been the highest impact work I'd done to date. In closing, if you are a small business owner, Hubspot can create amazing results for you. But in my experience , you have to do it on your own terms and as an educated business owner. It's also worth considerin g hiring a junior person to do this work for you in-house. HubSpot will totally change how you market, that point is not in doubt! See More

Really shady - they lock you into a long term contract paying thousands a month without making this clear up front. It's in the fine print but they definitely glide over it during the onboarding proce...ss.
For a company that claims they have such a great product, it's pretty sad how they have to use old school tactics like this. See More
