Fingers crossed!

I posted a little thing on our website about being somewhat anti-Kickstarter/Pledge Music. I’ll paraphrase it again here… Basically! This band is our own responsibility and I find it a bit of a bore and a bit lazy or undignified when I see other bands act like their band isn’t their responsibility. Like, if you don’t help fund their album it’ll never exist. It’s a bit weird to think people (‘fans’) do need to feel responsible for the creation of a record in order to part with their money for it. As if it’s somehow impossible for the band to put their own money into their own passion. This isn’t being independent, this isn’t having conviction, this isn’t good! Also Kickstarter prices are massively overpriced, normally LPs are £20 and digital downloads for EPs are like £8 or £10. Pfffff… tl;dr we’ve put all our (independently released) existing records on sale for cheap, all money goes towards recording/petrol when we tour. http://iceseadeadpeople.com/bandcamp.com/merch
