MAY IS MILITARY APPRECIATION MONTH! Congress designated May as National Military Appreciation Month in 1999 to ensure the nation was given the opportunity to publicly demonstrate their appreciation for the sacrifices and successes made by our service members. Annually designated by The President, this year’s theme is "The United States Armed Forces: The Strength of the Red, White and Blue."

May is selected because it has the most days set aside for celebrating and commemora...ting our military's achievements. Important dates in May include Loyalty Day (May 1), Public Service Recognition Week (May 5-10), Victory in Europe Day (May 8), Military Spouse Appreciation Day (May 10), Armed Forces Day (May 18), and Memorial Day (May 27).

IR salutes and thanks all who now and past have served for their strength, commitment and unwavering service to this nation! IR is proud to support the men and women who put the STRENGTH into the Red, White and Blue!
