Commercial Bank in Short Hills, New Jersey

They send wire transfers based on matching routing numbers only! Did not verify any other informatio...n it was sent to wrong bank at wrong address and my newlywed daughter and her husband were out 10,000.00. They excepted no responsibility and could have cared less. Sent her a letter full of false events and basically said it was their own fault. Never flagged her account and scammer tried to take more money from her Investors account but luckily she withdrew the money the day before and then had the nerve to change her $35.00 for an overdraft. BEWARE make sure you know all your banking rules because some employees aren't aware of banking rules and you to could be a victim of a 10,000.09 loss. By the way they avoid your phone calls and won't get back to you sometimes for weeks and keep placing the the blame on different departments. See More

The other day I went to a investor bank to make my deposit for my mother.
It was a simple $120 depo...sit, nothing out of the ordinary.
Normally I go to the one in my town, but I was running late to work so I decided to hold it off until my lunch break.
I go to the Investor Bank in Bedminster, since it's close to where I work.

I go through the drive through and after waiting a few mins I am able to get someone to accept the deposit.(I use to work in retail, so I understand the tellers were busy, still no harm no foul)

After sending the teller, the money and deposit slip a few minutes pass and then the teller told me that since it isn't my account, I need to send her my Iicense. (Wierd because I have never had that happen before. Again I worked retail, so I can see why she said that)

Then all of a sudden, she tells me that not she needs to have my Social security number AND my occupation and work location. Since it's company policy.

That when I told that I'm not withdrawing money, that I just need to make a simple deposit. And she said those are the rules and if I didn't want to give her that information, she can return the money and just leave. Which I end up doing.

The next day I go to a different investor bank and had no problem. Not sure what is happening in Bedminster, but very disappointing. See More
