What is your "why"? What is your daily purpose?
I'm on a constant journey for happiness. I want to be able to do the things that make me happy and that takes a healthy body and mind. I love going places and trying new things but my anxiety and fear of crowds kept me from going to concerts or out with friends for years. I'm still working on the anxiety but eating healthy and exercising definitely helps. Adventure is one of my motivators.
When I left one job several years ago, a woman I worked with told me, "Your gift is...you make people happy." Obviously I cried my ass off the whole way home.
The world needs more smiles, laughs, and hugs. We're all capable of those gifts. Sprinkle them like confetti! 🎉
Hello Fresh really impressed me. I saw delivery meals being posted all the time and thought, "I can just make that myself." But the thing is, I won't and I don't. I'll grocery shop and then throw half the food away. I'll be too lazy to come up with a recipe and end up going out or resorting to cereal for dinner.
HF was exciting, easy to prepare, and perfectly portioned. No overeating, no measuring, just perfect size meals for two.
The bf and I give it many thumbs up. We're trying Blue Apron starting tomorrow to see what we think but I'm pretty sure Hello Fresh is a winner!

1. Rum and diet - 90 cals (I love Diet Dr Pepper!)
2. Wine spritzer - 5 oz white wine with a splash of Diet Sprite and a twist of lemon - 96 cals
3. Most light beer - 100 cals
4. Vodka flavored soda- 1 oz vodka with 8 oz La Croix flavored sparkling water - 64 cals

I can't. A fellow Beachbody coach shared this recipe. I've literally been craving cookie dough or cookies and cream ice cream for days. The girl on the right is ready to take on the world. Could I lose more weight? ABSOLUTELY! Do I feel better, more confident, and excited about life regardless of the number on the scale now? ABSOLUTELY!
Life is what you choose to make it. Regardless of if you can transform your looks overnight, you have the power to change how you view yourself.

I hear people say "ugh I HAVE to workout later," or "I really SHOULD start going to the gym more."
I want to clarify something; the fact that you are physically capable of doing activity should spark gratuity. You are alive. You have a wonderful body, beautifully made by a higher power (whatever you believe) and every movement of this beautiful being is a gift.
You don't HAVE to workout. You GET to workout. When you start viewing your exercise as thanking your body for everything it does for you, your mind frame changes.
The pic on the left portrays me wearing a sweater and leggings with my favorite dress. A sweater and leggings in May. I'm usually cold but I spent the majority of nice weather sweating beneath layers because I was ashamed. I still have a ways to go, but I'm happier than I've ever been. No leggings or sweaters unless it's winter; and it certainly wasn't winter in Mexico!
OKAY SO LIKE, O.B.V.I.O.U.S.L.Y I love chocolate.
But really, I really love chocolate. Those who know me on a personal level know that there's usually a stash of chocolate somewhere in my house and I rarely go a day without a little bit of chocolate in my life. I definitely got the sweet tooth! 🍪
If it's not chocolate, it's peanut butter I'm craving. Mmmmmm...
I've tried so many different protein powders over the last few years. Chalky, fake, too sweet, not enough protein, too many ingredients.

Monday's are hard. I never want to make breakfast, let alone a lunch to bring. Most of the time, I end up stopping at Starbucks or McDonald's for coffee and breakfast and wind up with some frozen meal or Potbelly for lunch. This routine extends my bad weekend habits into the new week and before you know it, it's Wednesday and I haven't made one meal.
I've meal prepped in the past and it really helps. But coming off of vacation and super bowl Sunday, it's hard to get back in that groove. Shakeology was super easy this morning and a great start to my week! 😍
