Scheming and thinking, thinking and scheming... hard to believe under the raw yellow lurks a ST. A project I’ve had in mind for a while, other projects must be finished first... but I will have some 999 tanks in a few weeks... get an aluminium seat made...
Have a gaggle of engines available, but first 2 off the block.
- 400 Monster / Supersport. Engine is 99/00 carb model. Mint with just over 5k on the dial. Can be had as just engine, or plus loom (including ignition), air box, carbs etc.
- 900SSie. 84km, weld repair on left cover, strong engine - road the bike myself before dismantling. Loom and injectors available along with airbox. Lovely clean oil when drained
Next up... Monster 400 from 99/00 - last of the carbed versions. Clearly has had a shunt in the front but it’s only done 6000km & parts generally are in excellent condition. Guard, hangers, hugger available along with lightweight Moto Corse mufflers.

It has been VIN’d, I’m giving it a service, then will enjoy a couple of rides over Christmas and then it’s available for sale

A lot of money (so far, not hit reserve), but certainly the most collectable 2 valve of the 90s (my opinion only of course). Am restoring one of these at the moment
