Just a little snippy of this song because I was holding a bumblebee who lost his way inside the @bhakticenter and I thought he needed a song before heading on his way. In Sanskrit bees are often called ‘madhu’ after their honey making activities.
This song is by the saint poet Narayana Tirtha - I’ll post the full version on another day. 🐝

Thinking of someone very dear today and wishing for their healing with this traditional prayer of protection. I tried it in a new melody that seemed fitting this morning.

This song is a real favourite - with thanks to my friend Rupamanjari who taught me all the lyrics after I had listened to it for many years. I am not a piano player but I try and express myself on it time to time. This song describes the beautiful sight of Krishna from the perspective of his devotee, Tukaram. The language is Marathi. I didn’t sing the full song but check out other recordings online!
