Seriously, this book is so beautifully done, it should be required reading before being allowed to one-click anything else. Written from both the experienced and jaded male perspective as well as the inexperienced and outsider viewpoint of the female, this story really delves into why people are drawn to (and stay in) this particular lifestyle. Full of insights - some might actually make your progressive new-age self a little offended - this is as much a study of the human condition as it is a love story. But don't let the high level of intelligence put you off - if you just want a down-and-dirty sexy romance with lots of setting fire to the sheets, you have my permission to ignore the character growth and inner monologues and just enjoy the abundance of exquisitely detailed love scenes. Just be prepared to take notes. And make sure you have your favorite play partner handy, just in case you decide to try out some new moves. This book is just full of them. Oh! And lest we forget, it's a wonderful love story! Pierce, I believe, is actually more emotionally transformed than Jade is! Their road to a HEA isn't easy, but it is profound and lasting. Great job, Ms. Love!
