Highly recommend japcover! Couldn’t insure my imported Cube with my previous insurer but a quick google search pointed me in japcover’s direction. Only had to mention the specific model and the guy on... the phone said “that’s the one with the factory fitted body kit and wheels right?” Clearly these guys/girls know their stuff and that inspired confidence straight away. Matthew was very helpful and I was pleasantly surprised with the quote he got me, cheers! See More

Does exactly what they claim on the Japcover page, covered my SMX for significantly cheaper than the next nearest quote, very happy.

Having a newly registered import that no-one had ever heard of, and no NCB, I was over a barrel last year for insurance, and ended up paying around £900 for 3000 mile restricted mileage. I was hoping... that a year would make all the difference.
However, even with a NCB, all the quotes were for nearly £700, and I spent hours on hold, and paying for the pleasure.
But after calling Japcover, I got to speak to Hannah, who. with no messing around, quickly rustled up a deal for £484, with a little extra for breakdown cover - a saving of over £200. I couldn't be more pleased. They were also very helpful with sorting out a payment plan.
If you have a Japanese import, it obviously pays to go to the experts!

Similar story to some. My regular insurer Aviva hiked their price up the second year in a row so i was looking for the same cover but at a decent price. Found Japcover through a google search, and the...ir quote saved me £100 on my Nissan Elgrand!! Thank you Matt. These big companies don't seem to care as long as they get their cash. After waiting in Aviva's telephone que for 10 minutes talking to an automation it was very refreshing to call a human direct to discuss the insurance. Im looking forward to many years with Japcar if this service continues. Thanks again. See More

After the insurance insurance company I had been with for a good few years bumped up the price by £120, (no loyalty discount there!), I did a search and despite being given a lower quote by one compan...y who told me that there was no way I would find better insurance than that, I did when I found Japcar! Matthew was very friendly and helpful and actually knew what the Estima Aeras was. The first company I've found who actually know! Wish I'd found them before... See More

So far so good with the telephone calls to Japcover to arrange a good quote from Mathew himself, he's genuinely helpful and gave us cheaper insurance to beat prices anywhere else that I've called, wil...l be buying the car tomorrow and settle insurance with Japcover. So don't see any problems but everything seems perfect so far! (insurance for a 2013 Toyota Alphard Vellfire) See More

Thanks to the to all the team at jap cover. Had my jap import insurance with these guys for 2 years going on 3 years.
Really happy with the service that has been provided. Everybody I have dealt wit...h seem very helpful.
And the insurance premium was easily 50% less than other competitors I got quotes off.
Recommended to friends who have then taken out cover on the back of my recommendation.
Excellent insurance broker that I can only say good things about.

Introducing the Toyota Crown Athlete. We have seen some of the earlier versions over here. This is the 2014 model available with a 2499cc or a 3456cc engine. Extras include Keyless Entry, HID Headlights and Toyota’s ESC System. Beautiful looking cars, let’s hope some will be arriving in the UK very soon.

One of our customers came in to see us today, in his Nissan Cube Rider. It’s absolutely stunning and in amazing condition, if anything it’s just like new. Thanks again Anthony for letting us have a look, you’ve got a really special car there. 👍

Japan has a number of "Melody Roads", which use cars as tuning forks to play music as they travel. Grooves are cut at very specific intervals in the road surface. As a car moves over the spaces it creates different notes.

Here is a short video of the one Near Mount Fuji, Music starts at about 17 seconds into it, and as an added bonus for the Alphard fans out there, look very carefully at the car coming towards you in the first 5 seconds

Driving to Mt Fuji in Japan I came across this road which plays a song when you drive over it. Grooves cut into the surface of the road create the sound as y...

Although the Elgrand and Alphard's seem to be very popular at the moment. We have been noticing that we seem to be getting more phone calls lately about the newer shaped Toyota Estima. Certainly seems to be a few coming in through the Importers too. Most with the 2362cc engine, but a few with the 3456cc engine. Various specifications from the G, X to the Aeras editions.

Looking at the Auction Sites. Seems to be quite a few newer shape Toyota Hiace's going through at the moment. We know of a couple over here, Quite nice looking cars, and wouldnt be surprised if they started gaining popularity.

Not to everyone taste, but if you like a modified Vellfire? This has been done fantastically, although we would have to admit it would keep your local tyre shop in business.

Spotted! Probably less than 3 miles away from the office. Today we spotted two Nissan Cube Rider's. A White Generation 2, and a Black? Generation 3. Really nice looking cars, seemed to having plenty of room inside, but small enough to be great to park. Will keep you posted when we find out any more information.

We have heard a few rumours that there are few of these on there way to the UK? The Honda N-Box Custom. Another one of the Kei cars from Japan. 658cc Engine, producing 57bhp & Front Wheel Drive.Quite a funky looking car, and we will keep you all posted if we hear anymore.
