Jay's Place Recording is what you hope to find when looking for a studio - very high quality recording equipment, a legendary Triton mixing board ( the actual board that the Budweiser frog commercial...s were mixed on) and you get Jay and his always upbeat attitude at an actual affordable price! I've used him twice and he'll be the one I go back to also. I'm not going to name-drop on this review, but I do know of some music stars that have used this studio which makes the affordable price even a better value for everything you get. Try this place once and you'll be back too! See More

Amazing studio, amazing engineers. This place has the vibe of hanging out with friends in your living room and the sound of multi million dollar equipment. One of the best places in Nashville to record.

This a truly unique place to stay! Quirky, clever and clean. Close to everything and Jay is a wealth of information! We loved Nashville and all the experiences we had! The Ryman Auditorium, the musi...c bars and The Grand Ole Opry (a bucket list must). The icing on the cake is a tour of Jay's studio-awesome! We had a ball and you will too! See More

I've recorded at Jay's Place since 1992 and have done 2 complete albums and other sessions with friends, There is no better place to go and have somebody who "gets you". Jay is one of the most talente...d people I have ever met and I will always go to him when I have studio needs. I am finishing up songs for a new album and guess where it will be recorded. Yup. This is an AWESOME place to record. Professional yet has a homey fee. Magic is created here. I love Jay's Place as well as he and his wife. They are awesome down to earth people. We connected so w...ell together, and I love the wisdom and instruction that you imparted to Thad and his band. You ROCK!!! I'm excited about all of the things to come in Thad's musical journey. Just cuz I'm an Alaskan homestead hick don't mean I don't know my way round a studio or recognize a musical heart when I see one. Anyone can turn knobs, jay knows how to reach my soul and make it smil...e. Honored to share notes and words with the likes of Jay and Yudzilla. U ain't seen the last of me yet. See More
