We're returning to the fabulously cosy El Rincon in Bristol for an evening of chilled and blissed-out tunage. We had such a great time on our last visit, it might be worth reserving a table!

We had a wonderful chocolatey evening, last Saturday with chocolate martinis, strawberries dipped in hot chocolate sauce and delicious dipped dates.

And the fi...lm Chocolat, with the beautiful Juliet Binoche, and the smouldering Johnny Depp left us all feeling warm and fuzzy inside.

Also introducing Sylvia, our baby grand piano, who arrived despite the snow and was brilliantly played by Sam Richards.

A big thank you to the bar team, with behind the scenes support from Sarah Lawrence, despite it being her birthday , to all the stewards who managed to find seats for everyone and deal with several spillages and of course our cool and collected Colin Orr, cinema manager who kept an eagle eye on the whole event.

We couldn't have these events without such a supportive team behind us....

THANK YOU and here's to many more....

Easter weekend, Friday 30th March 2018 at the GARDEN KITCHEN, The Cott Inn @ Dartington for a little bit of sensationally charged poetry, music and drumming. W...e would love you to be there. FREE ENTRY, table booking encouraged but you can also hang out and just be part of the March hare raising, easter bunny chasing, chocolate egg tasting frenzy. With the sizzle factor we have Mr. Rob Barratt our headliner poet from Cornwall. The professor of all that is whimsical will also be in situ Mr Robert Garnham, Bev Knowlden on her saucy sax, Harula Ladd with poetry from her heart, the Totnes lad Clive Donovan, leading poetry lights Susan Taylor & Simon Williams, Sue Proffitt colliding with stars, Peter Shearn in his electric blue top hand and tails, Peter Whittle & Ian Morrell sending out those theatrical vibrations on piano & double bass, Julian Isaacs sent to us from planet clever. John Elliott on moustache guitar. Stu Lambert & Ziggy Giles bringing a new expression to The Word Café on drums. Jon Inder with poetry sublime. Martin Seager with songs, oh and i'll be hosting this affair. It's outside so bring your double sided socks and helmets.

New Year New Gadgets! Being lucky, I (Peter) had a guitar built at Crimson Guitars in Dorset. They created (eventually!) a lovely guitar largely based around similar one they made for Robert Fripp. I had mine made without the midi pick-up which is on his. The reason being that Boss have created a....

So many thanks to Pete Judge off of Get the Blessing, the lovely Jan Edwards, all our fabulous freinds and generous strangers who took the trouble to come out and make last night really special at El Rincon in Bristol. What a great venue. We are looking forward to seeing you again.

We have been honoured to be invited to play the tiny but fabulous El Rincon Bristol Tapas Bar in Southville, Bristol , This coming Thursday evening where we will be making sonic ambience for the evening and perhaps some more uptempo tunes too! Looking forward to seeing old friends and new strangers!

One of the great side effects of playing live music is the places that you go to play. One of the finest places we’ve encountered is the Totnes Cinema.

Well, a video appeared on FaceBook with a guy playing a hammer dulcimer. And very lovely it is too. I find the percussive sound of this instrument very attractive. The first time I heard one was a man busking in Bath and I was enchanted by it. I think the story with this album Ambient 3, was that Br...
