This is good, if wholly expected news. The challenge to the eviction... ban was based on vapor. Now we need the ban (which includes mortgage forbearance for homeowners and landlords) extended into next year. We cannot have people losing their housing in the middle of a public health crisis. We've got Shared Streets all around the city now. For those of us wh...o grew up here back in the day it's a return to when our residential streets weren't experiencing constant through traffic. It gives people more walking space when they run their errands into our city squares, but it's also a much calmer way to live.
