Here's another one of my articles.

In Peculiar Treasures by Robin Jones Gunn and published by Zondervan (2008), quirky, red-headed Katie Weldon is finishing up her junior year of college at Rancho Corona. Her best friend, Christy Mi…

If you are interested, the review l posted of her work, Nick Newton Is Not a Genius is on this timeline or you can read it on Books 4 Christian Kids.

Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines! My world is full of deadlines and they’re not over for me yet. My biggest news is that I’m applying to a Masters program. If I get in, I’ll be attending in the fall, which means more deadlines. All this work is making me feel like a real writer and I’m loving it!

Working in youth ministries, my heart squeezes with sorrow and fills with compassion as I see all of the things our youth face today. They are surrounded by the world’s standards and expectations, …

I asked my husband to name "his" character in my current work in progress. The name which he chose was Russell Payton. Can you guess how he came up with the name? (Our family and friends should get this one easily, but if you need a clue my husband loves sports.)

I am currently working on my new adult fantasy. Curiously enough, the main character, Rosamund, is very similar to me. Hmm, I wonder why that is.😉

SUBMITTED!!! Now the waiting begins!!!

J.D. Rempel is feeling accomplished.

I've heard it said that writing, "The end" is just the beginning. It has been true for me too. I've had three rounds of edits, with more than one person in each round. I've been writing a pitch, a cover letter, and a synopsis. Also there is researching marketing for yourself and for your book. And the list continues with looking for an agent. But, now I'm getting the last details together and I'm hoping to finally submit to someone in the next day or two! Yay!

You would think that working on a Friday night is bad, but not for a writer. Sometimes, I'm far away on another world. Tonight, I'm experiencing some magical realism.
