I just finished writing the blog post that will give all the juicy behind-the-scenes details on "Two Ways To Say Goodbye To Milford", the next short story I have coming out. It'll drop when the story does. If you want to know when that is, you can watch this space or you can like the page of the nice people who are publishing it in their magazine. That has the advantage of letting you see the other good work they do.

Wherein I mint a whole new word. Spread it to the masses, everyone.

Got word the other day that another short story of mine will be in print soon. More details when I have them.

Do I have a bucket list, have I considered suicide, have I become religious, am I scared? My answers haven’t changed since I was first diagnosed.

"Stanny Couldn't Make It" came out today in Across the Margins, and, as my practice will be with stories in this series--I'm currently calling it the Zezverse--come out, I have some notes to share about how this story came to be. So, short story trivia fans, prepare to feast. --The fictional movie in the interview, The Agitator, has a real world counterpart, the 1962 Roger Corman feature [ 173 more words ]

Just got word that another story of mine will be coming out soon. So you'll have to watch this space slightly more than I already suggested you do, it seems.

So, the story that I thought was coming out in a few months is coming out in a few weeks. Keep an eye on this space, and also on the space below. They have six other issues worth of fiction, poetry and nonfiction to catch up on while you wait. http://www.elsewherelit.org

Thought I'd pass along this provocative personal essay, written by a friend of mine.

It’s getting harder and harder to shave my pussy, let alone the tight star of my asshole. At this point in my pregnancy, a leg up and lifelong sense of my own topography are required to circumnavigate the globe of my belly. A hand mirror would be good, but this isn’t the 70s, though it might as well...

It appears a magazine will be publishing a new short story of mine in the not-too-distant future. More details later.
