Three years ago today, we lost one of our brothers in towing due to a driver's negligence in obeying Wisconsin's Move Over law. Nate Walsh was a dedic...ated and trusted tow operator, and more than that, he was a father, husband, brother, son and friend.
This weekend, a national effort is underway to remind and educate motorists about the importance of the Move Over law, not only here in Wisconsin but in many other states. It is a simple law to follow, but sadly, many motorists do not. Each of us has a responsibility to change that and let our family and friends know that moving over or slowing down for emergency vehicles could save the life of a family member or a friend.
Please be safe out there this weekend, and every day you perform your duties on Wisconsin's roads and highways. And take a moment today to remember Nate and all of those we have lost while diligently performing their duties.
Thank you. #moveover
