When first Jiser tracks appear at the end of 2009 and immediately stir excitement among both DJs and party-goers, it soon becomes apparent that this is not the work of a beginner. Excellent sound quality and refined composition structures reveal the skills of someone quite experienced: Jiser Glitch from Mexico City has been into electronic music production since 1998, released tracks under several... other monikers, and therefore brings the perfect qualifications to take dance floors world wide by storm.

The first release of Jiser in 2009 is a sound statement: The elastic offbeat grooves to be heard on the ‘Reeperbahn Tango EP’ are clearly reminiscent of the Progressive Trance often referred to as ‘Hamburg sound’ – but yet the tracks take this style to another level and give it an exciting new spin. There is a very open-minded feeling in the productions of Jiser, a very playful mood. Exploiting the fun potential of electronic and even non-electronic music, his tunes remain fresh and lively without ever losing the powerful thrust of Progressive Trance.

The same goes for his stage appearance: “When I really get into it, when I am even surprised myself by what I am doing, I think that makes a good live act”, Jiser describes his approach. Apparently it is appreciated very much, as his gigs frequently gain amazing feedback from dance floors world wide. That is also why Jiser’s debut album is one of the highly anticipated ones in 2012 among lovers of innovative Progressive.
