For those who keep asking for updates:

Honestly, I have none. Local law enforcement and DHS did nothing about the situation. The school did nothing, forcing Lacey to move to get her children out of a hostile and traumatic environment.

Lacey doesn't like to talk about it much. Ava is still traumatized. Her loving, supportive family continues every day to help her grow and heal psychologically. And Lacey is no longer involved in the page, due to the harassment she was receivin...g over this situation. She ended up losing her job after everything happened, and has been focusing all her energy on her family and seeking out new employment.

Situations like this are exactly why we have to teach our children AT HOME that violence is NEVER the answer, certainly not when it comes down to something as ridiculous as a TOY. The best way you can help Ava is the same way you can help ALL our children: advocate against bullying. Teach your children that bullying and violence are wrong. Encourage your children to tell an adult when they witness a case of bullying.

Prevent other children from being put in this situation, other parents. Teach by example that we should use our words to handle conflict, not our fists.

Guys, I just wanted share this since this family lives near me. I ask that you please keep this family in your prayers and thoughts. Their little one just passed away after a mysterious illness. They are shocked and at a complete loss to what has happen, and its hit the community hard as they were well loved by so many. So I'm sharing this to help spread the love and prayer for them, as well as ease their stress and worries of bills and whatnot. The last thing they need on their mind is that. Thank you in advance.
