The Highway 34 repair project in Colorado's Thompson Canyon was impressive. Kiewit helped get the area back on its feet after floodwater washed out chunks of the highway and kept people from their homes. This video shows the magnitude of the task and the community's gratitude.
As a sign of appreciation for their hard work on the Nebraska Crossings Outlets project, members of Kiewit’s team were invited participate in the First Look Fashion Show, which raised $100,000 for the Teammates Mentoring program. The audience reserved some of their loudest cheers of the evening for Kiewit’s team, who wore tuxes and hard hats. As the team walked onto the stage, the emcee noted that a project of this size is usually completed in 18 months and praised Kiewit’s performance.

Congratulations to TH 53 Relocation project teams from Kiewit and Minnesota Department of Transportation, which received Marvin M. Black Partnering Excellence and Build America awards from Associated General Contractors of America. The project scope included relocation of more than 3 miles of highway and construction of Minnesota's tallest bridge.
