The restaurant's sign makes it hidden or hard to find if you haven't eaten here. It was my first time so I had to call and get location. Once you find them, you...'ll never forget it!!!!!!!!!!! The lunch menu is small tight BUT, their flavors and portions makes up for it big time!!!!!!!! Their hostess was very professional and I told her it was my first time dining here. She asked what type of protein I prefer or eat and based her recommendation on my reply!!!!!!!!! Since I don't eat beef, pork, or shell fish, she recommended the lettuce wraps with chicken. I was thinking they were not going to enough since this item is usually an appetizer on menus BUT, here you get a nice full portions. Combined with their sticky rice, three types of kimchi and peppers sauce it was a nice lunch menu. You leave full but, not an heavy full. The taste and flavors were super clean!!!!!!!!!!!!! I recommend sitting at the counter and watch them prepare the food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I plan on taking my daughters for dinner since the dinner menu is offers many more items to pick from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! عرض المزيد

Well I was in raleigh today and was looking for a place to try I hadn't been to yet. Did read some of the reviews before going and noticed that many reviews c...ommented on the copious vegan and GF options so had to try it out.

This place does look like a small hole in the wall type place, but try it. The staff are great and the food is good.

Had their GF pork dumplings along with a beef bibimbap. Both were really good and I really loved the kimchi.

I had the brownie with peanut butter ice cream and strawberry preserve. Did like that as well.

This was my second, but far from my last visit. Veggie dumplings, and bimbimbap served by the amazing Chris. He knows the menu inside out and answered all our... questions about the ingredients and preparation of dishes. The service, and reasonable prices (except for $9.00 dumplings) make Kimbap a 'worth the trip' place. Use of local produce is a thumbs up. عرض المزيد

Went in this past Saturday for the tail end of Downtown Raleigh Restaurant week. Being a single, I immediately got seated at the bar where I could watch, in awe..., all the wonderful food being created.

I ordered from the $20 prix fixe menu: Pork & Ginger Dumplings (delish!), Bibambap (Awesome!), and Cafe au lait pannacotta with peaches and pecans (divine).

Everything was awesome. One of the best meals we have in Raleigh.

Always delicious food and great service. This place is like a hidden gem. One of my favorite discoveries in Raleigh. Everything is local and freshly served to perfection. Highly recommend their Thursday specials. You get a bottle of wine plus 3 dinner plates for $49! Can't beat that!

Kimbap has some of the best food I've had in Raleigh, and certainly some of the best Korean food I've had anywhere. Their pork belly nori tacos were honestly am...azing - so many flavors and textures - salty, crunchy, a touch of heat...would order this every time. The dumplings are delicious. When we're in the mood for something delicious and different, we always go here. The service is great, they always have something interesting for a special and prices are reasonable. I've been for date nights and girls nights and it was always great.

The food and service was good but prices were rediculous to me. Make sure to ask about portion sizes when u order. You may be upset to pay $8 for only 5 dumplin...gs. Considering it's a cafe I would've thought the prices would have been more reasonable. They don't have many selections to choose from on their menu either. I was kinda bummed about that. عرض المزيد

We went yesterday for the 1st time and everything was delicious! I got the bulgogi lettuce wraps and my fiance got the Bibimbap. I never finish everything when we go out to eat, but this was so good, there was nothing left to bring home. We'll be back :)
