Today was a sad day in our state’s history. San Francisco, a renowned Sanctuary City, decided to protect a criminal who had been previously deported five times at the cost of an innocent young woman who was gunned down on a beautiful California day while walking with her father. This happened because Jose Ines Garcia was released from a San Francisco jail despite a federal request to hold him until his SIXTH deportation. Early this year, Cathedral City decided to become a San...ctuary City. We cannot have this lawlessness in our own community! How dare elected officials put their own political agenda over the safety of American citizens! We need change in our district. Raul Ruiz has proven to be useless. He has put all of us at risk.
