I have nothing but great things to say about Kingswood, I'd recommend it to anyone in a heart beat. We get compliments all the time about how advanced our 2.5 year olds speech is and I have to credit ...that to her time here. Great facility, learning structure, and staff, we're thankful to have found such a great place. See More

This has been the best daycare/preschool we've been involved in. My daughter loves going everyday and she is learning so much in the Montessori school. The teachers, staff and other parents and kids ...are phenomenal. It's like having an extended family. The last 3 years have been such a positive experience and so rewarding. So glad she's here. Where to start :) Our daughter loves going to Kingswood Academy. She spent her first year in their daycare program and now 2 more years in the Montessori Casa program (age 3 and 4 year olds). The st...aff is always pleasant and easy to talk to. They have accountability and place the needs of the child first. It makes me very happy to know that while I am at work my daughter is in a safe and secure environment where she gets to learn, play and have fun. All staff is friendly and loves working with the children. Debra and Richard are very approachable and love what they do, which is also reflected in the environment of the facility. I would highly recommend either of their programs for a child. See More

Since transferring our son to Kingswood I've only have 1 regret.... Not doing it sooner! He has made leaps and bound in his personal growth and he is learning so much. The facilities are modern, light... and clean. What a wonderful environment to learn in. The teachers, the staff and management really treat you like family and genuinely love our children. We absolutely love Kingswood. Richard and Debra hire only top notch teachers and provide a loving, learning, safe and nurturing environment for the children. We wouldn't and won't go anywhere else. ... Out daughter will stay at Kingswood until she has completed her last Montessori class (which we hope be until she is ready for high school - hint hint) See More

Kingswood Family testimonials are an important part of our continued growth in Moncton for the Montessori, Day Care and After School Programs. Thank you!
6 days to go! On the outside of the building, Rietzel Landscaping was very busy with the final lawn and playground grading and filling the flower beds. They finished the perimeter land with hydroseeding, and early this evening, a flash rain gave our infant lawn its' first watering. Eastern Fence was also on site today for the first time, and they began putting in the fence posts for the 5 playgrounds. In the video, you will notice that there is a paved pathway along the entire length of the back of the building. This will provide Kingswood families with access to any of the playgrounds as students are picked up at the end of the day. Moms note that high heels will not be a problem! Over the past several days, our phone and paging system was being installed by Rob Knighton and his team from DPT Communications, and Marcs' crew from Add On Sounds and Security were installing the motion sensor hardware inside, and will soon add the 16 high definition security cameras. Inside, Atcan Industries was installing the custom made cubbies, and will be delivering the classroom bookcases (they match the cubbies and the in-class sink cabinets) on Friday. Mark Powers and his team from JMJ Cleaning were washing windows, cleaning washroom cubicles (installed by Bobs' crew from Division Ten) and waxing the main and upstairs classroom floors, leaving the hallways until the very end. Primo Tile guys were installing the backsplash in the kitchen that Milton Cabinets just finished, and adding baseboards all around the building. Primo also finished the tiles in the front entrance on Monday. Tri City Decorating was fixing the last few dings and dents, and adding some final coats of paint. Tomorrow, we will be doing the final inspection late in the day in anticipation of closing Friday afternoon. Also on Friday, our exterior signage will be installed by Hansen Signs, and our appliances will be delivered by Sears. Early next week, Mike Moreys' techs from Southampton Computers will be busy getting us connected so our move from Hildegard to Ryan will appear to be seemless. Fingers crossed. And finally, over the long weekend, our dedicated staff will be busy getting their classrooms together so when you arrive on Tuesday, September 2nd, you will be greeted to a new and beautiful building...Kingswood Academy Montessori School & Early Learning Centre!
The countdown is on for our opening September 2nd, and all of our great tradesmen are working feverishly to hit the deadline so we can begin moving the week of August 25th. Today's video is the first peak at the interior, with shots of the lower level, which includes four After School classes with sinks, the gym, Boys and Girls washrooms, staff lunchroom and the various mechanical/electrical/data-voice and storage rooms. Only the tiling in the gym is left to do, and first coats of paint have been applied. Now that we have full lighting in the building, Fundy Pros can fine tune the plastering, and the second coats of paint can be applied by Tri City Decorating. Ermen plumbing has begun to install the washroom and classroom fixtures, and this week Division Ten Specialties will finish the washroom partitions. On the outside, Breau Construction will be finishing the exterior siding, soffits and caulking, and Rietzel Landscaping has completed the sidewalks both in front of the building and at the entrance from Ryan Street. Roadway Systems is scheduled to install all of the outside high intensity LED lights which will brightly illuminate the parking lot, side entrances, and the playgrounds. Newco will be removing their construction trailer and temporary hydro poles shortly, and then Sugar Shack can complete the final parking lot fill, compaction and grading ahead of paving by MacArthur's which is scheduled for this Friday if the rain holds off. Just as a side note, the construction on Ryan Street between Northrop Frye School and Rural Estates Road seems to be close to completion, and we are hopeful that is will be mostly completed when our School opens September 1st. Drive by for a peek when you have a chance...1535 Ryan Street.
10 days from now, the doors of Kingswood Academy at 1535 Ryan Street will swing open for our students and Kingswood families for the first time! It is hard to believe that in March we were just starting to dig, and now the majority of the work has been completed, and we are ready to move in late next week. In the coming days, Newco Construction and their great sub-trades will be putting the finishing touches on our new school, and we hope you will love it as much as we do. We only officially take possession of the building Friday afternoon, so we would like to sincerely thank our staff for their time and devotion as they will be sacrificing part of their long weekend to ensure their classes are ready for your children come Tuesday, September 2nd. To all of our Kingswood Families, thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to caring for your children at our new centre for years to come.
