Thank you to Greg for sending in a quick cell phone clip of one of his KNEPTUNE amps. Seeing satisfied players makes all the soldering wounds worth it.

Some photos of the build process. A new circuit coming to life...

Changed the tubes on the 18W mini today. Built this amp in 2009 and it landed at its home at the AG Church shortly after. Gets used every week and still had original tubes in it. New tube set consisted of all Mullard reissue tubes. Matched EL84 power tubes, 12AT7 phase inverter and 12AX7 preamp. This amp will bark at ya when pushed, but clean right up with touch sensitivity. Fun little head.

Interesting donor. An old HK CA65 mono mic amp from an old church. Has some beefy iron that will make a great donor for a 6550 or EL34 based guitar amp.

I've always wanted to tie in this Fender Guitar Vintage Amp Tweed material in one of my builds. Here it is on the Gullwing doors and overhead paneling.
