I have had a couple of the beanies made by this great organization - and I bought 2 of them at Nordstrom in VA a couple of years ago- I love the idea that the p...erson who made each piece benefits from their hard work- the quality is the best there is- Just pulled one of them out to wear today and this does not happen often- living in Los Angeles- I always get a ton of compliments on these when I wear them ♥ See More

Krochet kids is but far one of my favorite clothing brands, I got this Maroon (my favorite color) beanie at zumiez at the north premium outlet mall located in L...as Vegas NV, and its the only beanie I've ever owned that slouched so perfectly, and a couple weeks ago I got a crewneck sweatshirt at the whole foods at town square in Las Vegas NV without realizing it was Krochet kids, and as I was putting it on i saw that it was a Krochet kids sweatshirt, all their apparel is wonderful, stylish, and fits great! Thanks Krochet kids, keep it up See More

I love my beanie. Auma Joyce is the lady that made my beanie. It's pretty cool that the website allows you to meet the person that made the beanie and learn a little bit about them

Great non-profit helping women out of poverty in Uganda and Peru. This is where Nadine interned this summer. May be a good place to start Christmas shopping with a bonus!

I'm cleaning out drawers, boxes, and closets -- and just came across a July 2008 Guidepost magazine. I decided to reread it and found an article about the begi...nning of your organization. I was again impressed and decided to research and see if you were still around. What an understatement that is - not only are you still here, but WOW have you thrived! So proud and excited about how you've grown and what you are still doing! God Bless You all! See More

The future depends on what you do today

Buy a hat, save a life. "Great things are done by a series of small things brought together" -Vincent Van Gogh. This c...ompany is committed to helping women and children by employing, educating, and empowering impoverished communities in Peru and Uganda. "We can't help everyone, but everyone can help someone" -Ronald Reagan. Every dollar that you spend is casting a vote for the kind of world you want--the future depends on what you do today. This company is a shining example of how industry should operate; excellent customer service, and incredible business model that highlights the underlying message that PEOPLE MATTER. Kudos to you guys Krochet Kids See More

I want to sing your praises; both for the work you do, and the inspiration you paint onto the world. The passion you chase daily and share in a tangible, impact...ful way through the stories you tell and the women you work with, have not only impacted their lives but mine as well. If I were ten years younger, I would apply for an internship and help tell your stories with my camera. Thank you for the courage to continue to pursue something so much larger than yourselves.

I absolutely LOVE what this organization stands for. Knowing that when I purchase quality products from Krochet Kids the money goes back to the women who made t...he products...you can't beat that. Everything I have purchased has been high quality, will last forever, and is absolutely gorgeous. Great work ladies!
I recommend this organization to everyone I talk to and I have received tons of compliments on the hats I wear!
Keep up all of the great and hard work!!

Such an amazing cause. I can't think of a better concept for a nonprofit organization, to not only provide jobs where there otherwise would be none, but to stimulate economies literally across the ocean. Just wonderful.

Got the softest cutest little hats for my 6 month old. So cool to see them signed by the person who made them. One from Peru and the other from Uganda! What a special company, helping so many people and producing beautiful items that have a story to tell.

Know what you're wearing. These clothes even feel better on my body, partly because they are not mass produced somewhere and mostly because I know no one was exploited while making them.

Krochet Kids has built an impressive metric system that quantify a growing quality of life for the women they employ. This is much more than a job for these ben...eficiaries, this is empowerment. True progress is in effect in Uganda and Peru, and I'm so proud to be representing KKi with my sweet Beck beanie from '12! Definitely gonna refresh for Spring 2014. :) See More
