I wanted to let you know about a very special film that will be playing at Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival on Nov 8th (Venue: International House of P...hiladelphia, 3701 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104)

SHANGHAI CALLING is a romantic/caper comedy about an Asian American's adventure in contemporary Shanghai! It features heartthrob Daniel Henney as a Chinese-American lawyer who is sent to Shanghai to open up a satellite office. Unfortunately, he does not speak Chinese; fortunately, his "relocation specialist", an "all-American girl" from the Midwest, does. How she and others help him get his bearings in the unfamiliar but spectacular city is the journey you will take with this movie.

Festival audiences around the world have been wowed by the film. They say it is extremely refreshing -- for its vibrant locations, cross-cultural humor, and nuanced insights into China's changing role in today's world. We have won oodles of awards.
VARIETY gave us a rave review, and says SHANGHAI CALLING is "irresistibly chic", with "beguiling humor."

Hey everyone come find us today in two locations! We will be serving from 10-4 in Clark Park, and NEW location in Fishtown, at Penn Treaty Park. Menus are slightly different, so come try our new tofu pad thai in Penn Treaty, or classic ramen and pho noodles in Clark Park. Kung Fu Hoagies

Winter weather has been coming and going lately... just a few weeks left before we jump back into our regular service! Hope to have some new surprises for you this year, we have had a very creative and productive winter with the Kung Fu family.
This weekend Saturday looks like wintery rain, and Sunday we will be taking care of some organization and preparations for the spring. Hope to see you next weekend, stay posted!

We have been watching the weather and waiting to make a decision about service this weekend. Chances look good that we will be out on Sunday at Passyunk and Dickinson, but we are playing it by ear, especially concerning Saturday which is predicted to be a stormy day. Look for a post tomorrow with an update, please! Thanks
