The start of the St Patrick’s Day 5K.
9:45am- A band of moderate to heavy snow south of I-80. This wet snow band could drop a good 1"-2" inches in a few spots through the next hour or two. Otherwise, a wintry mix of sleet/frz. rain/rain/and a few snowflakes continue along and north of I-80.

The downtown park hosts around 80 events every summer.

The city of Chicago is increasing security at the lakefront Millennium Park starting in May.

Wow we had quite the fog this morning! Thanks to Bob for sending us these!

The bill would only allow women to have abortions after the first heartbeat detection if their lives were in danger.

The bill is one of the most divisive pieces of legislation in the Iowa statehouse this session, the fetal heartbeat bill. It would ban abortions as soon as doctors detect a fetal heartbeat. That's about six weeks.

SUNDAY FORECAST: AM fog is starting to thin & lift across the area. Look for blue skies, and plenty of sunshine to develop this afternoon. Temps will warm above normal into the mid 50s! Enjoy today, clouds & cooler temps return for the 1st half of the week.

The season ends for Iowa basketball in the 1st round of the NCAA tournament.

Jaylyn Agnew scored 24 points and Sydney Lamberty added 20 to lead No. 11 Creighton to a 76-70 win over No. 6 seeded Iowa in a first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday.
