Your La Crosse View app has some very useful customization tools that will allow you to truly personalize your app experience. In this video, we will show you how to edit your Location and Device names, as well as how to adjust the order in which they appear within your app. Let's start by first editing your location names. Enter the main menu by pressing the menu button in the top right for iOS users, and top left for those on an Android. Once the menu opens, find and tap the "Locations" tab. This will bring you to your "Locations" page, and list all of your created locations in a grid format. To adjust a location's name, simply tap on the text below its picture. This will bring up the keypad and allow you to make your naming adjustments. While we are still on this "Locations" page, this is where you'll also be able to modify your location order. To do so, simply press and hold down on the image of the location you'd like to move. After about 2 seconds, you should notice that as you drag, this location will follow your finger's movements, with the other locations automatically shifting to allow for the order changes. It's important to keep in mind that by adjusting your location order, you will ultimately be adjusting your device order in the app as well. Let's take a look at your "Devices" page to get a better understanding of this. Exit the "Locations" page by either pressing Done in the top right, or the back arrow in the top left. Re-enter the main menu, and this time select the "Devices" tab. Here you'll see a visual breakdown of all the devices you have connected; listed under the locations they currently belong to. So as we were saying, if you adjust your location order, you will actually be moving all of the devices listed under that location along with it. But now that we're on this "Devices" page, you can easily adjust your device order here by pressing and dragging the handle icon to the right of that device. You'll notice that you can even move devices to new locations using this method as well. This is also where you would go if you'd like to change a device name. Simply tap the text of the current device you'd like to update, and a keypad will once again come up allowing you to make this naming adjustment. So just to reiterate, the device order you set on this page, is the exact order in which your devices will appear when swiping left and right from your app's main screen.
