- Taking Trans-Sib in Mar from the East. May anyone give me suggestion...s? My plan is: stay in Slyudyanka on Tue. Take TOURIST TRAIN of Circumbaikal railway on Wed to P. Baikal, ferry to Listvyanka and stay. Do dog sledding and ice bicycling then head to Irkutsk on Thu. What can't be confirmed online is the schedule of circumbaikal railway. According to a post on LP http://ppt.cc/XWma ,it seems OK but any risk? TIA :)
is happy to tell that russian migration laws have been changed to have less paperwork ans stress for foreign visitors. Now you don't have to register unless you stay more than 7 working days in one city. And there are no more fines for travelers for not having registration even if you overstayed. Thanks mr. Medvedev
