Lansing Liederkranz is a nice and affordable facility to rent for parties and meetings. I have attended a few weddings there and a couple graduation open houses. There is a permanent dance floor and Plenty of lit parking near and around facility. I believe they allow offsite caterers to come in but I am not sure how that is coordinated. They have a coat storage area which can be used for regular storage too. The bar is a nice size for the building, it does have a small tv (usually playing sports). There are restrooms on the main floor, they are a little small & outdated but who cares since you really don't spend a lot of time in there.

The club dinner dances are a great place for families and friends to get together. Fun for all ages. Good German food, entertainment and dancing. Depending on the band they mostly play polkas and waltzes but occasionally they'll throw in a line dance or swing music or other surprises. The club predates WWI & II and is one of the oldest ethnic clubs in Michigan and the oldest in Lansing. It is pretty amazing how long the club has survived over the years if you really think about it. It began as a German American men's singing club in 1868. Today the club is more of a social place where EVERYONE is welcome, you don't have to be a German man to attend this club. I recommend everyone give it a chance, come eat or dance or socialize or even people watch. They also have other events throughout the year like Holiday Bazaar, International Dessert Bar, Swiss Steak Dinners, Luncheons, Rummage Sales, Yoga, Euchre and much more.

A wonderful German gem right in Lansing. Authentic German atmosphere, food, beer and music at the monthly dinner dances. The club is charmingly decorated and makes a great venue for parties, weddings,... graduations etc. as it has everything you could need at such a reasonable price. I have attended and hosted a number of events there and have never been disappointed. Love the Liederkranz! See More
