We are learning all about the weather this week at school. From discovering different types of clouds, the power of wind, the water cycle and what makes a rainbow visible, the children will be busying themselves with so many fun and educational activities both inside and outside the classrooms!
Next week our theme of the week at Larsons is “I have a dream..” the children will talk about and demonstrate how they show kindness towards each other and also discuss the golden role “Treat others the way you’d like to be treated”
Today was our annual feast. Each and every year we get all the children and their families in the same room to enjoy a meal together. This year we also sang two special songs for our families that came. It was so special. This is one of our favorite days to share with all of you. We are so fortunate to be able to have events like today’s. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
The theme this week was Nocturnal
Animals! Here is some creative artwork displayed in the classrooms and the children have been learning so much about different animals habitats, discovering what it’s like at nighttime compared to the daytime and plenty of new vocabulary! One of the favorite math activities this week was seeing “how many bats tall” each friend was!
A huge THANK YOU to all who came and supported Larsons and attended our haunted house. We hope you all had a spooktacular time! A lot of planning and creativity goes into this event, and we couldn’t pull it off without the support of our community. Thank you! Happy Halloween!
