We moved to Danville in July and had to find a child care pre-k option that worked best for our daughter. We knew that our transition would be a challenge for a passionate 4 year old that was very at...tached to her friends and teachers at her old school. After researching several centers in the area, we just knew that Larson's was the right fit for our daughter. The staff have been so helpful and AMAZING in getting our daughter transitioned. The center is always clean and welcoming. Our family feels so blessed to have found Larson's for our daughter. So very happy here! See More

We feel loved not only today, but each and everyday and we are so very fortunate we have such sweet littles to take care of and teach each day as well! Happy Valentines Day!

We are learning all about the weather this week at school. From discovering different types of clouds, the power of wind, the water cycle and what makes a rainbow visible, the children will be busying themselves with so many fun and educational activities both inside and outside the classrooms!

The weather is beautiful and we are soaking up the sunshine outside here at LCC!

Dinosaur week was amazing! From baking fossil cookies, Dino stomp art, creating dinosaur eggs, and fizzing Dinosaur science, the children were wrapped up in plenty of learning while having fun!

The best way to spread Holiday is cheer singing loud for all to hear! Today our school age children went caroling to spread holiday cheer. The children were amazing, and brought many smiles and happiness to others. What a great day.

There is so much to learn about winter! The children here at Larsons have been playing in “snow”, seeing who can melt ice the fastest, learning about animals in the arctic, and also plenty of math and literacy activities that tie into our winter theme!

This week is Super Hero Week at LCC! The children have been super busy with math, literacy, science, art and even cooking projects that are based on superheroes of all kinds!

Today was our annual feast. Each and every year we get all the children and their families in the same room to enjoy a meal together. This year we also sang two special songs for our families that came. It was so special. This is one of our favorite days to share with all of you. We are so fortunate to be able to have events like today’s. Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Check out these geo-pumpkins! The children hammered golf tees into the pumpkins and then started to create shapes with rubber bands. They added so many rubber bands we lost count! How fun creating math projects out of pumpkins!

One of the favorite math activities this week was seeing “how many bats tall” each friend was!

A huge THANK YOU to all who came and supported Larsons and attended our haunted house. We hope you all had a spooktacular time! A lot of planning and creativity goes into this event, and we couldn’t pull it off without the support of our community. Thank you! Happy Halloween!
