"The artist is a vessel to interpret and transfer information without boundaries. If it’s done with true intentions, you are totally exposed and vulnerable.

Seeing as it's International Women's Day, I thought I'd give a special mention to the amazing Pauline Anna Strom, someone who only came to my attention last year but has been inspiring me immensely ever since. Not only was she one of the early synth pioneers of her time (producing a total of 7 new age and ambient albums in the 80s, she is also blind and has been from birth but hasn't let that stop her.
Here's a track from her first and recently re-released album Trans-Millenia Consort originally released in 1982; one that slipped through the net at the time but is now thankfully getting the merit it deserves
The output for my label Sensoramic had to take a back seat last year thanks to the birth of my daughter, but I'm very glad to say this year things are stepping up once again and the next release by Kamran Sadeghi is finally on sale. It's been in the pipelines for a long time this one, but it was well worth the wait..
Out now on 180g vinyl, with artwork by Sarah Sense:
Kamran Sadeghi 'Vessel'
Thanks to Resident Advisor for featuring 'Undone', the lead track from the upcoming Sensoramic release in their New Tracks section. Watch this space for the amazing Kamran Sadeghi's three-track EP 'Vessel' coming later this month. Can't wait!
The next Sensoramic EP is by Kamran Sadeghi, an artist on the front line intersection between dance music and the art world. Here he is on stage with the legendary Patti Smith at the Volksbühne, Berlin in a recent performance with his collaborative project, the Soundwalk Collective
