Friends and FB Strangers, Please consider donating a few dollars to a very worthy cause. We have a food bank that had closed couple weeks ago for lack of funds. We finally received our 501(c)3 right after we closed up to rebuild our bank account and rebuild the organization. All our employees and many more volunteers are excited to come back to to this good work for our community. It really takes a village. If each of my friends / strangers on FB donated $10+, we'd easily b e half way to our goal of reopening. We will invite you to come meet the 500 seniors and families that need our food to survive of you wish. (No Gimmicks, No Ice Buckets, and No Video Credit for Doing Something You Should Do Anyway)
In the first 4 months of 2013, we have received 22 applications for assistance. We are in need of more donations and sponsors to be able to help these needy families that continue to struggle daily with the high costs of medicine and doctor visit co-pays for juvenile diabetes. Please donate to our foundation. Every dollar goes to another needy family.
We have a new event coming called 1K IN ONE DAY, where we will be serving 1,000 meals to hungry people. Visit our website to support this event or for more info. www.diabeticfoundation.org
Happy holidays everyone! It's that time of year again. My daughter, Jenny, is participating in the American Heart Association's "Jump Rope for Heart" fundraiser with her school (David Lawrence Jr. K-8 Center in North Miami). Please consider clicking on the link to her webpage, learning more about how your donation can help save the life a young person who needs a stronger heart and help Jenny reach her fundraising goal.
