We may fully expect the Toronto Star not only to discredit the Conservatives as we approach the next election but to not report the truth.

The Star notes, "Doug... Ford even suggested it was bad for minimum-wage earners!" Wrong. Doug Ford said that as opposed to further increasing the minimum wage, he will give low wage earners even more help by having them pay "zero taxes". He advised that the more vulnerable in our society should not have to pay tax. The problem being that the Star is afraid of Ford because they know how popular he is.

The Star notes regarding Brown's carbon tax, "...not one of the candidates has suggested how they will cover the $4-billion difference." Wrong. Ford has advised from the start that he will make up that money by finding 3% of savings out of the 141 billion budget by reviewing every single ministry to eliminate wasteful spending.

The Star notes, "...Either they stick with cap-and-trade or they impose some form of carbon tax. Neither is literally not an option." Wrong. Constitutional authority over the environment is shared between the federal and provincial governments. Trudeau can impose any tax under his general taxation power, however, to justify a tax, it must be for the purpose of raising revenue and not regulatory in nature or to change people's behaviour. If it isn't seen as a tax but as a regulatory measure, the province can fight it. In that Trudeau's carbon tax not only raises revenue but is regulatory in that it’s designed to change consumer behaviour to consume less and produce fewer emissions, it can be fought.

Listening to the Ontario Progressive Conservative leadership hopefuls debate how best to respond to the supposed challenges of our time, it was sometimes hard to figure out what world they were describing.

Shocking figure: $1.5 trillion in debt by 2045.

Trudeau’s legacy to young Canadians will be $1.5 trillion in debt by 2045.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his inner circle will be breathing a sigh of relief that 2017 is coming to an end.It hasn’t been a very good year...

Why does Justin Trudeau think it's ok and cool to mock and ridicule Christianity by using cartoons as the face of Jesus and his Disciples in the Last Supper? Wh...en will liberal elite like Trudeau and his friends who defend his behaviour and laugh along with him, realize how harmful and intolerant they are being to Christians? Share if you agree that Leaders in the west like Prime Minister Justin Trudeau need to start standing up for Christians instead of mocking and ridiculing their faith.

Now the Liberals have resorted to fear mongering and blatant lies. See them for what they are.... A desperate party trying to maintain power. Do your due diligence. Explore and educate yourself on what the different parties are proposing (keeping in mind if you have no chance of winning - it's easy to promise the world) and make your decision.

Whether you look at Premier Kathleen Wynne’s Liberal government or Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberals you can’t help to think it’s a sad situation all-around.Wynne&rsq…

Prime Minister Trudeau is on track to increase per-person federal debt more than any other prime minister in Canadian history who didn’t face a world war or economic recession.
