We had a guest conductor yesterday at Asda, Newton Mearns. Well done Cornets you almost made it to the end! 😂😂😂

A big thank you to anyone who made it along to help at our stand at The Foundry to support and vote for our bid today. Especially Hazel who put a lot of time and effort into our presentation and we were rewarded with a grant of £5000 towards our Band Camp.

Barrhead Housing Association’s public vote on grant applications takes place on Saturday 17 March at The Foundry, Main Street, Barrhead.

Voting is anytime between 12.30 - 2.30 with the results being announced at 3. It would great if as many of our supporters could spare 5/10 mins to come along and vote for us as we try to raise funds for our annual Band Camp.

Thanks and see you all on Saturday!

A big congratulations to Christopher who was part of Johnstone Band’s winning performance at the Scottish Brass Band Championships at Perth on Saturday.

First Section Scottish Champions and a place at the National Championships at Cheltenham in September.

Well done 👏

All East Ren schools are closed again tomorrow so rehearsal is off tomorrow evening.

The voting for the BHA grant is scheduled for Saturday morning at The Foundry, Barrhead. We need as many people to go and vote for our application for Band Camp funding.
