Do you ever wonder why the fight for liberty and freedom have been going on for thousands of years and despite what happens freedom and liberty never last long? The champions of freedom and liberty have written countless books with wonderful quotes on the subject. It is amazing how even in modern times what was written hundreds or thousands of years ago still hold true today. Quotes against socialist behavior and the liberty of people being abused by those in power.
If you ha...ve never read Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, I would highly encourage you to do so. Frankl survived Auschwitz and other concentration camps. Frankl was a psychiatrist and in his book he writes about his experience and how people could destroy other people. This goes in line with what I discussed above.
Power corrupts and people continue to give power to others, for safety, food, shelter, medical care, etc. There was a reason our forefathers wrote our Constitution to limit the power of government. These men didn't even trust themselves with ultimate power. Those in power have time to wait the general public out. Those in power will continue doing what they do and a generation or two down the line they will further destroy people making people slaves.
The sad part of all this is people in this country don't care, they are still content. They are selling their future and the future of their children for comfort. The spirit of freedom in this country is dead with far too many and that was the plan that has been in place for decades. How much longer will our Republic endure if we don't defend our freedom and liberty?
