I enjoy the venue, the acoustics and the character of the building but tonight the staff was unacceptable. There was one point the musicians (Hanson) asked everyone to be quiet because they were a capella without mics and one of the staff yelled something during the song then the staff was very rude after the show. I understand they are tired but there's no reason to yell and curse and drop F bombs at the concert goers. Their rude behavior actually kept some people from getting pictures and autographs from the musicians tonight. Again, I understand them being tired and frustrated but there's different ways to handle a crowd. Also a friend over heard someone talking about how many "stupid people" she sees at Hanson shows. While I don't disagree to a point, you can't say stuff like that around your patrons.

The volunteers were very sweet though.

Hanson is always amazing and never had a problem in past 10 yrs I've seen them there until 9/27/17. Security was rude and disrespectful. Very unprofessional. Extremely disappointed in the management o...ver this. Control your employees. I got a message to Hanson about it. I hope they do something. Such a shame. If you don't want to be there, don't treat your customers who are your paycheck like that, find another job. See More

Where to start. The seating is small wooden fold down chairs that are not staggered but directly behind the person in front of you. There is hardly any incline so you really can't see without your h...ead on the persons shoulder sitting beside you. They have seats directly behind poles. There is absolutely no air. Everyone was completely drenched in sweat. I wouldn't recommend this venue. See More

Went to the hall last night to see Carlos mencia. Bought tickets through ticketfly months ago. There was a handwritten note on the door saying the show was cancelled. Never got an email or any notific...ation that the show was cancelled. Very disappointed See More

Beautiful theater with decent acoustics. Hope you will consider a fundraising campaign to upgrade the tiny wooden seats, which were extremely uncomfortable. I was so distracted by how much my back hur...t that I missed a few of Dimitri Martin's punchlines. Oh well. Nice place though. See More

Venue use to be a lot better. Bought tickets to see a Ben Folds show three months ahead. Well they decided to sell General Admission tickets where about a 100 people stand in front of all the seats. S...o then the front row has to stand and then the next row and so on... General admission also created chaos where people didn't know if they had assigned seating or just go where ever so we had people scrambling everywhere. It's a solo piano show... No need to sell the mosh pit in the front for less than the the people who paid for assigned seating... Just terrible. See More

I had the absolute pleasure of seeing Aaron Lewis in this amazing venue last night. I have seen him 3 times now, all in different venues and this was the best. This was, by far, the best show I have ...seen in a small venue in quite some time. For a small town feel and quaint vibe, this venue is top notch. I hope to be back soon for another show. See More

Saw Sturgill Simpson here last night night and although I have mixed feelings about the performance, I'll try and stick with just my review of the actual venue here... Anyway, this place is horrible. ...It's much smaller than I had imagined, which would be a great thing in most cases, but not here. The seats are very small and crammed right next to each other and they are old, turn-of-the-century wood seats. After about an hour my fiancé and I both had neck and back pain and my legs and ass were completely numb. I'm also assuming the place is air conditioned but due to the involuntary intimacy, it gets really hot really quickly. I would see another show here but only if it was an artist that I absolutely loved. Tip: the balcony seats are better than anything on the floor past about 5 or 6 rows back. Save your money and grab balcony seats. See More

Its very old. And absolutely built for smaller people with short legs. Beautiful architecture. Great acoustics from where we were sitting. Middle balcony.
Some people had some difficulty seeing around... the tall people seated in front of them. And legs crammed up against the seats in front of them. But the old wooden fold down seats are part of the charm . You're not at the Lowes here.
The volunteers are awesome. The library is beautiful. Hope to come back soon. :)

We were at the Kathleen Madigan show. We had the same problem as others understanding anything. At first, I thought it was just the opening act's deep southern drawl. We had trouble understanding Kat...hy as well. We also had a problem with the seats. We thought we were buying front row balcony seats through groupon, but were instead seated in the second row balcony with a lattice covered barrier at the bottom of the steps obstructing our view. The wrong seats could have been a groupon thing, but the lattice is always there. See More

I was there to Oh Starry Night 4. I took my best friend. The building is beautiful. It is the typical old style theater that you think of. The place was easy to find, and to get in and out of. Parking... was bad because it was all on street parking and several people parked terrible. Other then that it was an amazing place. See More

Seats are made of wood (mine had a big splintered chunk out of it) and they are uncomfortable, cramped, with little arm or leg room. The building and theater are quite beautiful, but I didn't think the... acoustics were too great. It was hard to understand the song lyrics without it just sounding like a lot of noise. See More

The performance quality, sound, and lighting were great. I received tickets center row, 6 rows back for a birthday gift. They were roughly 2x the price of tickets on the 2nd level and 4x that of gen...eral admission. We were extremely disappointed to learn that general admission was standing room only IN FRONT of the seats by the stage. The seats were obstructed view and you needed to stand the entire show to see the performer. I give the performance a 5 but the venue a 2 for making that decision. See More

Very much enjoyed the Graham Nash performance on Saturday night. The venue was perfect for this show. I would have gone 5 stars if the crowd had been a little better behaved. I don't understand the of yelling and wolf-whistles during an otherwise mellow acoustical performance or talking all night like the lady sitting next to me. :/ See More

Music was awesome BUT, don't get right balcony A & B 7,8,9 or 10. There is a stair guard that blocks view of stage. Payed way too much money for no view.

The building is beautiful and the staff were great. It does need a little restoration, but otherwise, I enjoyed the Jim Jeffries show there and would go to the venue again.

The only issue I had--an...d maybe their website addresses it; I should have checked and I didn't--was that disabled parking was lacking. Maybe it's available somewhere and I just couldn't find it.

That said, the staff was most helpful and friendly.

Paid over $500 in tickets for Ben folds for two people and I have people standing in front of me for whatever reason that paid much less and I can't even see the artist. Asked if I could go sit else and seats are not available. See comment below for picture of my fantastic view......I should add even when standing we could not see See More

Saw Ben Folds there tonight. He was great but I will never again come back to this venue. View from seats were completely obscured by GA area in the front forcing you to either stand the entire time... or sit and see absolutely nothing but people's backs. Ruined the experience for many and a complete ripoff for those that paid seat pricing. See More

It's a quaint old theater. Ambiance and intimacy of a small theater was lovely. Love how it is set in a residential neighborhood. Seats are original wood and pretty uncomfortable, but otherwise the pl...ace was a really nice setting for the show I experienced. See More

I am biased- I love this place and I'm so proud to have it in my neighborhood. The Venue is a smaller venue, but the staff/ volunteers are very helpful and friendly. And including the Pittsburgh Sym...phony, there is always some wonderful talent appearing there. Five Stars- easily! See More
