I started out with a Groupon for a message and consultation. I ended up going repeatedly to help heal a major shoulder injury! Everyone is very friendly. Dr. Blake is knowledgeable. I love that I can... pay visit by visit. My last visits have led to more use of the "laser" to help heal a bone bruise in my knee. It has really sped up the healing process. Great atmosphere and Jackie, his wife is a nutritionist. See More

After being blown off by every primary care doctor and orthopedic surgeon I have ever seen; being told that my pain will never go away, and that it shouldn't hurt this much, it was amazing to find thi...s place. They didn't promise miracles or even that I can avoid surgery in the long run. What he did do was understand the pain I have been enduring without down playing it. This is the first health professional I have seen in a VERY long time that made my health and well-being a personal matter. I walked out of there with a huge sense of relief and a healthy dose of the best medicine in the world... Hope. See More

What does it mean to be healthy? 🤷‍♀️

If you were to ask someone, “How do you know if you’re healthy?” you will likely hear answers that mention having a lot of energy, or simply, “I just feel good” and more commonly, “because I never get sick.” People don’t typically equate their health to how their body is truly functioning. When our bodies and all of the different parts are working like they were designed to, this is what true health is.

A good way to look at this is of thinking of the word health, think about having a sense of ease.

If you have ease, which is the opposite of dis-ease, then consider yourself to have health. If there is a lack of ease, you’re experiencing dis-ease, and chances are, your nervous system and the different parts of your body are not functioning as it was all meant to.

Your body is amazing. It is. It is a powerful, incredible, intricate machine! Respect what you have instead of wishing for physical attributes that you just not have (long legs, a flat stomach, curvy hips etc.)

You get the picture. The goal is to be healthy! 💪🏻🏋😀

Many people are surprised 🤷‍♀️
to find that chiropractic care is just as important if not more important for infants 🤱🏾and children.🧒

Although they are more resilient than adults, kids can get subluxations in the spine just as adults do.

Many times we find that problems in adults actually stem from subluxations that occurred when they were very young but were never treated properly.

The chiropractic adjustment given to a child is much more gentle that those given to adults, especially in infants. The amount of pressure used to adjust an infant is about as much pressure needed to check the ripeness of a tomato. Most of the time the parent doesn’t even realize the chiropractor has made the adjustment at all.

Click the “schedule now” on our Facebook page and follow the prompts to make your appointment.

By incorporating Chiropractic Care into your schedule it becomes way more than a treatment and more like a lifestyle.

Once that happens and you experience how great you feel you wonder how you ever lived without it 😀

Chiropractic care is based on the understanding that the nervous system controls all parts of the body. The spine may be a strong set of bones in the body, but things such as falls, stress, tension, overexertion, and other injuries, can cause the spine to be unable to function as it normally would.

It is so important to get regular Chiropractic adjustments to allow your nervous sytem the ability to function at it's full potential.

Causes of Subluxations;

Subluxations can occur due to a combination of three stresses on the body.

These are sometimes referred to as the three T’s of subluxation;

1. Trauma (physical)
2. Toxins (Chemical)
3. Thoughts (emotional)

It is possible to have a subluxation that is sitting silently in the spine and has no apparent symptoms attached to it.

Your body maybe finding a way to work around the symptoms. This can be slowly compromising your health and healing potential.

As long as you have stresses in your life (hello, both of my hands are up 🙌) causing subluxations, it is essential to get adjusted regularly to keep the whole body functioning properly.

How you feel is not always the best way to assess your health.

This is the reason why dentist look for cavities; why medical doctors test blood pressure and pulse; and why we as chiropractors check for vertebral subluxation’s ( mis-alignments or nerve interference).

Be proactive in your health care today, schedule your Chiropractic appointment now 😀
