I totally love this church. Thanks to The Avenue, my faith continues to grow stronger. The Avenue is my church family and anyone who attends will be welcomed as you are. They believe in helping others... and helping the city with Be the Church projects. If you haven't visited, trust me you'll be blessed that you did. The Avenue is my home away from home, you will want it to be yours. I can't wait to see what God has planned for me. I'm looking forward to my faith growing stronger with The Avenue Church. See More

My family and I have been attending the avenue for a year and half and we couldn't be more excited at what God is doing there. I have never been a part of a church that had so much going on for the wh...ole family. Most churches attend to the needs of one demographic and leave out the others. Not the avenue!!! There are missions ministries, small groups of all kinds, an awesome children's ministry, a growing youth ministry and a lot of other things I haven't experienced. There are baptisms almost every month where people have decided to take the next step in their walk. That is so awesome to see. The pastors have a heart after the community and it shows. We have all been very happy there and can't wait to see what else God is going to do with this body of followers. Glad to be a part of it. See More

I am one of the drummers at The Avenue and I am very pleased with this church! I have 17-years experience playing drums and out of all the churches I’ve played for, this is a place that I can actuall...y grow as a musician and believer. I am very proud to be on a stage with musicians that take worship serious and on a professional level. They are constantly progressing and pushing the envelope. Also I love that they focus a lot of energy and time into ministering to our youth. People forget that it is they whom we are passing the baton to for leading the next generation. As far as the light show, loud live sound and modern music we play; I think it’s nothing compared to what heaven will be like. Even scripture emphasizes the magnitude of praise and worship (Psalm 150:1-5). I mean honestly, imagine what it will be like when we get to heaven. There’s going to be millions of people celebrating and shouting the name of Jesus...I’d say we are extremely conservative compared to that. See More

I have been attending service for a little over a month now and I must say, I absolutely love this church and everyone in it. I was in a dark place when I moved to Tx. It was important to be to find a... good church like the one I left back home in NY and the avenue got it spot on. I feel so blessed and leave Sunday service and really any time I come for a life group or event feeling loved, valued and most of all, feeling God. The community is wonderful and I absolutely feel the support here. ♥ See More

I really did enjoy the pastors sermons the handful of times we attended The Avenue, however every other aspect of this church felt like a concert (fog machines, laser beams and confetti cannons poppin...g off). They proclaim that they are a "come and see church", to get non believers to attend their services, which is a good tactic, however I did not feel that they were feeding the spirits of those who have been raised in church their entire lives (strictly from a personal standpoint). Every service we attended seemed to somehow take a turn to them asking the congregation for money to build their new facility. The kids ministry seems to be really awesome, my kids really enjoyed it. But due to the lack of personal growth we felt while attending, we will not return. See More

After having bad experiences at a previous church, it was such a relief for me to experience going to a church that is truly caring. It was nice to feel uplifted and actually feel God for the first in years. I believe I can finally embrace a close relationship with God without feeling shameful or not good enough. That's what Jesus died for, anyway. I am so blessed to have found The Avenue! See More

Things have definitely changed from the time I was a child attending church. And for the most part it's been a positive, the young as well as the adults feel comfortable, welcome and excited to be a of the congregation. I remember attending and feeling it was more for the adults, now looking around the young as well as the adults the word of God is spreading through both in large numbers. Keep up the Lord's work our future depends on it. See More

I Love the Avenue Church! After visiting several churches, an then visited the Avenue, there was no question I have found my new church! Awesome anointed preachers who are incredible teacher's. It is ...not a man made church, but a house that the Lord dwells in. Celebrate Recovery is a God saving powerful ministry that I am truly blessed to have found when I was ready to give addiction up to God, this was the perfect place to do it with people who are or have had struggles just like me! Our God is an awesome God! See More

The message was fantastic. Music production was a bit too extreme for me. Stage, sound system and lighting is perfect if I was going to see a Christian Rock Concert but personally I find it too much f...or a church service. I can see how it would be appealing to a younger crowd and if that was to takes to get our Lord in their life then I'm all for it. We should be doing whatever it takes to get God back in our country. Again it is just a bit too much for my taste. See More
