- I am dedicated to making a difference in peoples lives. What can I do for you?
I love to laugh, sing and travel to mention a few of my passions. I am an avid personal development student and love exploring new possibilities.
A biography is a written account of the series of events that make up a person's life... so here it is in a hopefully interesting way!
If you could do it all again, would you? I often think of that as life continues to roll on and the experiences of today seem somewhat unlikely given the events of the past.
I was born in a zoo... Kalamazoo! Michigan that is and soon found my parents had a streak of gypsy in them that had us moving around a bit till we found our way across this wonderful country and settled in Novato, California. Liked it here so much I decided to stay... well not in Novato, but in Marin mostly and the San Francisco area for sure!
Have enjoyed a great deal of wonderful experiences that have allowed me to truly 'find myself' in this myriad of roads that my life has traveled by both choice and otherwise. To summarize my belief about our experiences and how it shapes us: "Life just keeps getting better!"
Sometimes I think If I knew then what I know now, things would have been different... now isn't that obvious!
I guess I used to be shy and somewhat withdrawn in my younger days but now more! To really live, I think it is important not to worry about what other people think and just focus on doing what makes you happy! Do what makes your heart sing!
That being the case, I left accounting about 7 years ago and sent into something I am truly passionate about: Marketing and advertising! I am so excited every day to help businesses grow and thrive, even in a 'down' economy! Business is great!
I have been married and living a wonderful life in Sausalito sitting up on a hill looking out over the beautiful bay and Angel Island. Looking forward every year to the Christmas Tree to light up on December 1st!
I have traveled extensively and I'm certainly not done yet. My dream is to spend a year or two in a private jet with 20 or so of our friends traveling the world and stopping anywhere our hearts desire!
I hope my impact on my friends and families lives will be a positive one and that when I am thought of, it is with a smile. I always want to leave a place better than I found it.
My years ahead are destined to be filled with more wonderful experiences and this saying does a good job of summing up the philosophy on aging (although the preserving the body is something I do believe in more than I did when I was 20!):
“Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well
preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways,
chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body
thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming
“WOO HOO what a ride!”
I look forward to connecting with you and getting to know you on Facebook and beyond!
"Once you expand your comfort zone, it will just keep growing and so will you"
- You think that the goal is to be over there, and we say the goal is the journey over there; the goal is the fun you have along the way on your way to over there.
We always attract into our lives whatever we think about most, believe most strongly, expect on the deepest level, and imagine most vividly. -- Shakti Gwain
