Live Home 3D v.3.2 is in the Windows Store!

Note to all Live Home 3D Windows version users. The program is passing Windows Store verification at the moment. Version 3.2 should appear shortly at the store.
We are glad to announce that Mac version 3.2 already passed MAS verification and is already available both on our website and at the Mac App Store. The full list of version changes can be found here: http://www.livehome3d.com/mac/release-notes
Note that the new version at the Mac App Store requires Mac OS 10.10 or higher. The version avaialbe directly from us still supports 10.9.5 system.

The time has come to announce another set of features in v.3.2

We've been frequently asked to increase the list of supported file formats. One of the most demanded ones was Autodesk FBX format for 3D models https://www.autodesk.com/products/fbx/overview
We are proud to announce that such import will appear in the new version, both on Mac and Windows platforms. Moreover, Pro version will be able to export the design you've made into FBX and OBJ formats, which opens the path to 3rd party photorealistic render engines such as onerender.com and others.
Another pack of features in v.3.2
We would call it “Improved interaction with the 2D plan”.
To facilitate the process of 2D plan drawing we added the following enhancements:
- the dimensions and auto-dimensions are shown now when you resize a room which is partially hidden; no need to zoom out to see them;
- the project settings received the Units Precision option; no more large fractions when Feet and Inches are selected as the project units;
- introduced the ability to set wall thickness prior to drawing a wall.

We continue to announce the features of the v.3.2
The feature # 2 is the optimized rendering. It means that in version 3.2 you will move almost twice (!) faster when you design in a 3D mode with the lights and shadows disabled.
On the image below you may see the difference between two versions. For testing we used the House 1 (furnished) template, where the viewer was in a static point (User Camera position). We measured how far to the right the camera turns in 5 seconds. The result is really magnificent, especially taking into account that the template used for testing is the complicated project, with many 3D items in it.
So, let’s begin with the feature #1
“The ability to create arch segments for the contour based building elements.”
What does it mean?
...In version 3.2 you will be able to draw ceilings, floors and openings which have the curved segments. To make such a segment, simply select the contour in 2D plan, make it editable, and bend the necessary segment using a special dot. Drawing a curved step, custom shaped garden path or a balcony now becomes a reality.
Pro version, which gives access to Elevation 2D View, will be especially useful for making custom shaped openings, niches and panels in a wall.

Hey guys, we have some really great news! :) In 2 weeks version 3.2 of Live Home 3D is coming. It is full of new features and this update will be available for both Windows 10 and Mac users. Starting today, we will begin to announce what features will appear in the program, so stay tuned!
Live Home 3D v. 3.1 just appeared at Windows Store. This update fixes the program crash on opening projects on some mobile phones. We strongly recommend to use devices with 2GB RAM or higher for the normal program functioning.
