They are essentially charging entrance to a bookstore. I'm not sure why I should pay for the honor of shopping there. I don't pay to enter a mall. There are tours available at an extra cost but are s...uper disorganized and prepare to wait hours to get on a tour. Ultimately it was a paid bookstore with mostly missionary themed books. I felt very mislead. Not exactly Christian. The one saving grace was a gentleman named Keenan who seemed to be the only one to understand our position and offered my gf and I a tour of the boat if we can back when he wasn't working. That was a beautiful, personal gesture by him. Thank you Keenan. You're a gem. Besides that, you can skip this experience. See More

This is a floating mission to spread literacy across the world. Many do not have this opportunity that is taken for granted by others. Keep on sailing ... God speed!

Entiendo que no tenían esperado el desorden latinoamericano en las filas y por eso la entrada es caótica.
La librería está muuuy limitada, esperaba mucho más.
...
The library is very limited. Iwas hoping so much more.

On February 19 2009, almost five years after the ship was purchased, the newly renovated MV Logos Hope sailed into service from Køge, Denmark to Gothenburg, Sweden. Now, nine years later, several of the original crewmembers find themselves back on board.

“We were all jumping when we heard the news that the ship could make her first voyage to Gothenburg!” recalls Marta. She was jumping again, as she had the joy of welcoming Logos Hope – along with several of her old friends – to her city in Colombia.

Logos Hope’s fifty-five new crewmembers are receiving their Basic Safety Training (BST) ahead of joining the ship. As part of their three-week orientation before they step aboard to begin one or two years of service, the volunteers have been bonding as a group, learning teamwork and getting prepared for life on an ocean-going vessel. They also need to learn how to react in the event of an emergency, which could include abandoning ship or tackling a blaze on board. So new joiners – including children – have a ‘fire and water day’ of handling extinguishers before jumping into deep water from height, learning how to make buoyancy aids and handle life rafts.
