Long update: My stomach is in absolute knots and my eyes are burning but my heart is hopeful that Zoey will be found soon <3 Looking for a webcam! That way we can tell, hopefully, exactly when she is in the trap. Has anyone done this before and could help. PM me pls. Amazing helpers today. Wow. And Chelsea, Travis and Khaleesi from twitter/reditt community last night in the pouring rain and fog. We were so close to her!! Can't wait to tell them that. Kevin, from Trackers Edge is coming to town with his tracker dog to get Bobby (fingers crossed), the other dog lost right now. He's been incredibly generous with his helpful advice. As has Guysele who, I understand, works with dogs at Canadian Border Inspection and offered to come help. She owns a couple of traps which are pretty rare and we've spoken at length. Zoey, since Monday, has been roaming thousands of acres across the street from three locations familiar to her: Bruce Pit (spotted today at 8am) at cedarview and hunt club), my brother's house in Arlington woods (greenbank and hunt club) and my fiance's house at the corner of hunt club and woodroofe, by a park she has visited about 6 times by the power lines She was spotted three times, around the same time on a knoll by a hydro line near woodroofe, on hunt club. I think she wants to come home now. That's what an energy healer, Karin, has been telling us. Karin sent us maps about where she was and they are very accurate. She was also out helping look. Gratitude, Karin <3 And, it's not over yet but the generous folks that came out in this severe weather today... Highways and roads shut down, accidents everywhere, the volunteers were out in this crazy storm. We are so touched. Bye for now. Trying to stay pawsitive, hehe. Crossed paws! Good night. Send Zoey warm thoughts please :-) Ps - trying to keep up with all the texts, emails, posts, etc but have to take a break but will try to respond to all, maybe not right away.

It's hard to believe that three years ago our Zoey was on the lam in Ottawa! She's doing really well, charming nearly everyone she meets in Prince Edward Island. We moved to a little cottage community where we walk on trails and the beach everyday but we still frequently take her to the dog park at the humane society, where we adopted her from three years ago this past September.

We keep a close eye out for lost dogs on PEI and have been out looking a number of times. Dave a...nd I often marvel at how many amazing, generous people in Ottawa and beyond helped us for those 15 days that Zoey was gone. We are really grateful. We can't imagine being worhout her!

All the best to Zoey's friends,

Maureen and Dave
