Amazing festival I had a total blinder, great mix of stages and genre's, surprised to see a few negative comments on here re sound and queue's, I didn't experie...nce that all this year only good vibes all round ! Its a inner-city festival guys you've gotta have one or two limitations ! Quick bar, great crowd, amazing acts and had some great food too ! I met the two old hippies Dave and Tom that run it on my way out, lovely chaps :) Bring on 2017 ! See More

I've been for the whole weekend the last 3 years and have never had a bad word to say until today. Today being the Sunday of 2016. The sheer number of people sq...ueezed into the relatively small space really was a kill joy. Understandably the event is much more popular these days but if you are going to sell more tickets, you need to increase the space, number of bars, toilets, water points etc to cope with the higher numbers. It was nearly impossible to sit down and enjoy the beautiful day, music and vibes through fear of being trampled by the swarms of people.
In short, an amazing inner city festival but in dyer need of space!

Loved it last year, bought a weekend ticket this year, went on the Saturday but on the Sunday went with someone who only bought a ticket for that day. We left t...he ticket at home and was told by staff at the box office just get it up on the person behind us' phone, after them saying that was fine we went to walk in with a screenshot and was told that someone had used our ticket 5 minutes before. No help from the box office so we both had to leave, would be fine if it was our fault however when your staff tell you to do something then say there is nothing they can do, appalling customer service and £100 wasted. First festival in Bristol and what a day. We were so lucky with the sunny weather and was expecting to be full of "kids" but it was a perfect blend of people. G...reat atmosphere and fantastic music all around. The reason I did not put the 5 stars is purely because of the sound system, but I do know that's because of the council and residences around. Would definitely return. See More

Now that the dust has settled, I can't begin to describe what an incredible weekend this years festival was. From the acts, to the stages, to the crowd to the i...nsane production and phenomenal weather, this years Love Saves The Day was definitely the best I've been to. It is such a privilege that I am able to attend this event every year living in Bristol, and it is a credit to the local area and community.

Oh, and Motor City SHUT DOWN Saturday Night. Please come again.

Went on Sunday to Eastville park and was really impressed! Lots of security, really good layout, loads of great stages. The music was amazing, great sound and ...a wicked line up! The loos were really clean too!! We had an amazing day there was a great atmosphere and didn't witness one bit of trouble......and from a local residents point of view the windows of our house didn't rattle like they have done when other events have been on.
Well done to all involved! Happy days.
(really can't understand how people complain when the park is used as a venue, it's huge, plenty of space left for the rest of the community)

Really impressed by this small festival! As veterans of local music festivals including Glastonbury I think this one was well organised and had a great atmosphe...re. They also had some really good ideas - like the bar queuing system which made getting a drink fairer, we only had to wait 10mins tops. The reusable cup idea meant that the festival ground wasn't ankle deep in rubbish too. The sound at the main stage was amazing quality; I noticed it wasn't as good at the other end of the festival. The stages were sited quite close together here and I think pushing the volumes over the limits of the sound system might have been to try and drown out nearby stages. Toilets were nice and clean even on Sunday evening. The dance off area was very entertaining - fine music being played and lots of fun too. Well done LSTD, come back to Eastville Park soon! See More

Both days were good however sound systems on sunday on the larger stages were poor!! Also with that heat yesterday there was absolutely no shade to sit under, the trees had been fenced off so you could not sit under them!!

What can I say..best yet guys. My 4th LSTD, heaps of improvements to what I now feel is a perfect little festival. No long waits, super clean loo's, lots of mu...sical variety and Saturday crowd was fantastic, not one bad vibe. Well done Team LSTD you should be proud. Please don't get any bigger though. We seemed to miss most of the music as we were in huge queues for the toilets and bar. Queued for over an hour to get in to the venue. A shame as we had such a good time last year.

I really enjoyed the vibe and even though some people kept over crowding the stage it was still an amazing night and the music had me skanking all night

Great music, great vibes, had such a good day! I never queued for more than 5 minutes for the bar, food or toilets either. Can't wait for next year

We have had some amazing stories of love, happiness and kindness throughout our 5 and bit years - but this one has to be our highlight!

Congratulations to Olivia Brown and Dean Horler who met at our festival in 2013, and then got engaged at the same spot in 2016. May there be many more happy years to come!
