Thank you to everyone who donated to the Go Fund Me account for this little beagle momma. She now has 7 healthy puppies! Momma has a shattered left hip from someone striking her with a bunt object plus a bullet is lodged in her right hip. Someone did not want this girl around but through it all she persevered and will now get the vet care she so desperately needs.

Please join Tina James by supporting my online fundraising campaign on GoFundMe: 'Heart Worm treatment for LFT dogs'

If you have ever wanted to help us save dogs on one of our transports here is your chance. Your donation will go directly to saving a heart worm positive dog’s life that we would otherwise have to leave behind due to the cost of treatment.

LFT will be transporting animals from Louisiana on Jan 30th to rescues and no kill shelters. Several of the dogs that are currently in high kill shelters in Louisiana are on the euthanasia list because they have heart worms. If LFT can raise enough funds for the medicine to treat these dogs we ca...

Just finished unloading 111 dogs and puppies so they can start their new lives in a loving home. We’ve been on the road since 11am yesterday so it is high time
for some R&R! Sleep tight pups...

All loaded up! Every crate on the truck is filled and some are riding up in the cab. Over 100 dogs and puppies are on their way to new lives!

Here are a few pics of some of the pups that will be hitching a ride with us on Tuesday from Louisiana. We should have over 100 on board. 🐶

Six lucky dogs had a lot to be thankful for on the day before thanksgiving. That is when LFT pulled them from a high kill shelter and provided transportation to the HS of Sarasota and HS of Pinellas. They will be up for adoption soon.

UPDATE: this poodle is SAFE with a rescue. Thank you to everyone who made his rescue possible!

Can any of my fellow rescue friends help me save this poodle from being euthanized??? He is a very sweet boy, about 5 years old and has a fractured pelvis. He is walking and routinely asks to be taken out to use the bathroom. He is at an animal services facility and will not make it out unless a rescue or shelter steps up and takes him in. He is located in Central FL. I can help transport within the state of FL.

Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals

On September 24, 2017, the Mayor's Alliance for NYC's Animals rescued nearly 50 cats and dogs (and even a hamster!) who survived Hurricane Irma.

Our friends at... Loving Friends Transport drove all 47 animals from Florida to Virginia, where the Alliance picked them up for their life-saving trip to NYC on the Wheels of Hope! After walks and breaks for all — and LOTS of kisses — we were on our way to NYC!

All 47 rescued animals moved on to our Alliance Participating Organizations:
Tails of Courage,
Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation,
The North Fork Animal Welfare League, Inc,
Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition,
Waggytail Rescue, and
Red Hook Dog Rescue.

After lots of TLC, they’ll be adopted into their forever homes!
