Ages 7-14 $160 for week $180 w/ lunch pass
*Discounts available for multiple camper enrollment
This year’s Kids Camp is centered on the concept of building community in our daily activities!
Day campers will have the opportunity to learn diverse elements of traditional and native arts including:
 Paper Making...
 Paper Marbling
 Quilt Making
 Folk Music
 The Art of the Folk Tale
 Creative Writing
 Theater Production
 Story Telling
 Native American Drum Making
 Painting
At the Lowry House, campers will discover the house’s history and connection with the Underground Railroad and Huntsville’s role in early medicine. They will also have the opportunity to explore the history and architecture that make Huntsville such a fascinating place to live. Day excursions include trips to a local museum (included in cost).
At the heart of our camp is the sense of community. Daily, campers will help prepare snacks for their group and hear from different community leaders and not-for-profit directors about ways they can help build a stronger community. This point is driven home with a collection drive to benefit Christmas Charities Year Round and their mobile clothing closet that helps thousands of children each year.
Parents have two options for lunch for their child, they may either bring their own, or purchase a lunch pass from the house. Lunch Passes cost an additional $20 for the week; each meal is a healthy and balanced meal including fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared by a gourmet chef (Vegetarian options available).
On Friday evening campers will present their theatrical productions, art projects and quilt they have made with family and friends. A pot luck meal, along with food the campers have learned to prepare is provided.
For more information, and to enroll your child please visit www.historiclowryhouse.com or call 256.489.9200

Pictured is the Freeling family (and Leslie) in the aftermath of the haunting. And they all lived happily ever after...until the sequel(?).

WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN ...YOUR HOUSE IS HAUNTED was the best attended play Evil Cheez has done. Eleven performances, and most of them were at capacity. We Cheezheads want to thank each and every one of you who came out to see our little show. You all were a collective fabulous audience! We couldn't do what we do without your support and enthusiasm. Sincerely, and at the risk of sounding cheesy--pardon the pun--THANK YOU!

I always get depressed when one of my shows ends, but I'm hoping I won't have time for that this go-round, as we have to jump right into work on THREE upcoming projects!

So here's what happened: We were sold out for tonight's FINAL performance of WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN YOUR HOUSE IS HAUNTED--but Eibem-Vekael, the evilest and most p...owerful of the three entities haunting the Freeling home, scared this one group of patrons so badly that they abandoned their reserved seating and fled the city! That means we have a few seats available for tonight's show! Want one? They're just $12--best entertainment value in town! To reserve your seat, call 256-489-9200. Showtime is 7:30. DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW! Come see what everybody is raving about!

Facebook says that the event ended yesterday, but that's just an April Fool's prank. There are TWO (2!) more performances of WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN YOUR HOUSE IS H...AUNTED, tonight at 7:30 and tomorrow night at 7:30--but tonight's show is SOLD OUT! (That's NOT an April Fool's joke!) There are still seats available for our FINAL performance tomorrow (Sunday) night, but they're selling fast. Reserve your seats NOW before they're all gone. You'll kick yourself--and risk pissing off the spirits--if you miss this show!

Speaking of spirits, here are Tolan-Re and Tlulbish (left to right). There's still one spirit yet to be revealed. Eibem-Vekael, the worst of them all...

ONE LAST CHANCE to see them dead and in person!!! http://www.historiclowryhouse.com/theatre-productions-by-wa…

Father Joseph doesn't have a lot of experience dealing with the paranormal. (Okay, he doesn't have ANY experience.) That's why he brings along Laverne Delacroix.... She has the gift of "discernment of spirits" and can communicate with ghosts. What those ghosts tell her to tell father Joseph, however, he might not want to hear!

WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN YOUR HOUSE IS HAUNTED is SOLD OUT for tonight (Friday) but we have TWO shows left, Saturday and Sunday nights at 7:30. Seats are going fast, though, so you'd better call and reserve yours NOW!

Casey, Kenny, and Sarah hope to make their living in the field of Parapsychology, but first they're gonna have to discover a REALLY active haunting, something t...hat will make them famous.

They should be careful what they wish for.

WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN YOUR HOUSE IS HAUNTED returns TONIGHT! Four more shows total (Despite what Facebook says, we have shows on Saturday and Sunday nights, too!) but tickets are selling fast. You'll hate yourself if you miss your chance to see this one! Reserve your seats NOW!

A hearty thank you to everyone who has come out to see our show so far. WHAT NOT TO DO WHEN YOUR HOUSE IS HAUNTED has been (really) well attended and audience response has been overwhelmingly positive. (Except for those two uptights who got offended and left early, but ya can't please everybody, right?) We have four more performances, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Come see what all the laughing is about!
