Asalaam Alaikum Warahmatullah Wabarakatu,
A lot of you will be aware of the recent passing of Brother Adhil. In sha Allah, throughout the year the society will be raising money to establish a water project as Sadaqah Jariyah in his name.
Abu Huraira (RadhiAllahu ‘anhu) reported: Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying: When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three: Recurring charity or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him.
...We pray that the water project as a recurring charity continues to be of benefit to our brother and the communities it will serve.
May Allah shower his infinite mercy on the deceased and grant Adhil the highest station in Jannatul Firdous. Ameen.
